Having a 7ft camera up his jacksy’s probably the only pleasure Catchy gets.

Lascelles should be fit for the Swansea clash next week.
Felt a slight pull in the pelvis but taken off as a precaution

That’s why Ashley is a ‘wassack’ of an owner

    Speculate to accumulate

Coutinho cost 8.5 Million / sold for 145 Million

4 or 5 years ago (and even now) you can spend 17 / 18 Million on a player and sell for 60 Million plus

Instead of scrapping around the 3/4 million pound mark

We have had chances to sign decent players if we pushed the boat out

We were interested in van diyk (bad spelling but wouldn’t pay the money)

Same with Gareth bale at Southampton

Same with deli Ali at mk dons

Pay a bit extra push up the league (6th / 7th) and they are worth a lot more and we would have a decent team and bank balance

It can be done with a good owner and a good manager / scouting system

Once is enough for normal folk like you but where the Capn’s concerned … It’s heaven!

By the way, I know from personal experience, it ain’t clever

If you are even midly upset about this win, there is something wrong with you. Pardew or schteve would have lost this game for sure.

We won the game whereas stoke lost and bournemouth need to replay their game.

Sounds like a good day to me. So far 2018 has been as good as can have hoped

Sparky I once knew a bloke who kept a bike in his back passage…

Reminds me of that scene in Phoenix Nights where Jerry St Clair goes to the hospital and as the doctor threads the camera into rear end of the supine comic, he tuts and exclaims …

“Oh no…. just look at that! It’s filthy! Nurse, give it a wipe please …” As the horrified StClair looks aghast we see the nurse get a cloth and wipe the monitor screen clean..

Kenedy looks dreadful. And that’s not an overstatement. He is afraid to kick the ball forward.

Michy hasn’t done much but we’ve seen enough to know he’s got some class.

Got in funny game even first half until we scored on control rest of half
Second half Luton gave it s go and we’re the better team drove forward with power.
We were slow with build ups lot of misplaced passes yet created umpteen chances but only one on target – got to do better

Woodman 5 Did ok at fault for goal distribution good but needs to be quicker and needs to go out on loan for experience
Manquilla 5 ok got forward and stuck in but defending a bit scary at times
Lascalles 5 ok but had to go off
Clark 5 ok as above very in and out looked slow at times
Dimmet 5 defended well but slow at going forward
Ritchie 6 has decent game but forgot his shooting boots
Shelvey 6 good goal but a liability when players go past him with his lack of pace
Merino 7 ok but goes down to easy for my liking and final ball was poor
Murphy 8 best player by a mile caused their defence trouble all afternoon
Gayle 6 did ok but again left his shooting boots at home
Perez 7 two goal poachers game but missed chances for his hat trick
Hayden 7 did well as a stand in composed on the ball

Canny atmosphere made by the Luton fans and nice to see a lot of families there with the kids – the future of the Toon
