Rafa Benitez is trying his best to bring in some talent to the Newcastle squad this month.
But he doesn’t seem to be getting much help from the Newcastle owner Mike Ashley – and that’s for the third transfer window in succession.
Newcastle have already been linked with Chelsea’s 21-year-old attacking midfielder Charly Musonda.
And the Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will now make the Belgium U21 International available for loan for the rest of the season and Newcastle are interested.
But some other Premier League clubs – Bournemouth, Watford, and West Brom – are also interested in the player and Chelsea want a guarantee that he will be given playing time.
That may be difficult at Newcastle, especially if we bring in Chelsea’s left-sided midfielder Kenedy this month.
Musonda can play in central midfield or on the wings.

Chelsea have definitely made the decision to allow the youngster to go out on loan, and it appears that Bournemouth are the favorites to sign the player who has played 6 times for the Chelsea first team.
Musonda was also out on loan to Spanish club Real Betis over the last couple of seasons to get some first-team experience.
Musonda’s a possibility for Newcastle, but we will need to choose our loan players carefully since the primary requirement is for strikers this month.
Newcastle need a couple of players who can score goals for us in the second half of the season.
The Brussels-born player has been at Chelsea since 2012 since joining them from Anderlecht.
