Newcastle fans are hoping for the best at Manchester City today and three in four fans in our poll think we will lose this game.
We will likely set up the same way we did when Newcastle held City to a 1-0 defeat at St. James’ Park.
And with a little luck in that game, we could have even nicked an equalizer in the last 15 minutes.
But we will need some luck to get anything out of the game and fans know that.
Fans are also venting about Mike Ashley and while it seems the difference in the money Mike wants for Newcastle and Amanda Staveley will pay is only £50M – that may not be the case.
We have a strong feeling if the new TV rights deal goes up significantly from its current total value of £5.1B – Ashley will raise the price he wants for the club.
Pep Guardiola – Man City manager
Nicking a point at the Etihad Stadium today would be good but if we lose we could sink further down the table.
Our next league game is on Wednesday 31st January at home to Burnley.
As a Newcastle fan, I ain’t looking forward to this weekend of football?? #NUFC

Today is a free hit. Would much rather we parked the bus and only get beaten 1 or 2 nil then have a go and get beat by 6. Goal difference will be important at end of season #nufc

Dear MA, so you won’t deal with PCP, belittling them publicly and lying about bids. Do you think any new bidders will want to deal with you? an embarrassment to yourself & our great club, only Rafa preventing an all out #nufc fans meltdown. I wouldn’t like to be you if he walks

I personally can’t effect MA selling or the amount of ? available for transfer window.
All I can do is go & support the team & manager, which is all I’ve done over many years. Why?
Because that’s what I love doing.
Guilty as charged I’m off to City #NUFC #HWTL
