Fans Have Their Say On Today’s Tough Game – And Vent About Owner Mike Ashley

Newcastle fans are hoping for the best at Manchester City today and three in four fans in our poll think we will lose this game.

We will likely set up the same way we did when Newcastle held City to a 1-0 defeat at St. James’ Park.

And with a little luck in that game, we could have even nicked an equalizer in the last 15 minutes.

But we will need some luck to get anything out of the game and fans know that.

Fans are also venting about Mike Ashley and while it seems the difference in the money Mike wants for Newcastle and Amanda Staveley will pay is only £50M – that may not be the case.

We have a strong feeling if the new TV rights deal goes up significantly from its current total value of £5.1B – Ashley will raise the price he wants for the club.

Pep Guardiola – Man City manager

Nicking a point at the Etihad Stadium today would be good but if we lose we could sink further down the table.

Our next league game is on Wednesday 31st January at home to Burnley.

Oh yes, the prospect of Amazon and Google getting involved could make PL clubs worth trillions & gazillions, *derp.*

How about Premier League streaming season tickets. hur hur hur.

Come on, Amanda, throw another 50 million at it… and whilst you are at it, throw in another 25 million bonus if the club stays up.

Where did people come up with this tripe?

‘Tottenham are expected to beat Arsenal to the signing of Bordeaux’s 20-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Malcom.’

That is expected to lead to Bordeaux signing Mitrovic… and then Newcastle can sign?

All this talk about the TV money is mad.We have to be in the premier league to get it.ashley being a gambler will gamble that we are, yet wouldn’t accept a deal with a relegation clause in it.Is that hedging his bets

I hope we don’t get battered today, and that the two chuckle brothers on sky are whinging about how we parked the bus and no place for it in Premier league, yet moyes was a master tactician

No chance of Ancient talking about today’s match
That would require some knowledge of footy.

It’s not the lack money that’s the issue it could be the lack of players on the list

    Walcott – gone to Everton
Luke Shaw – Mourinho now wants to keep him
Sturridge – Jamie Redknapp encouraging him to go to Italy to play
Eder, international striker ( at 31 too old for Mikeys age embargo) who plays for Inter Milan targeted by Palace
Tosun – made the mistake of going to Everton

Hope Rafa has some interesting targets then

Probably keeper ,Kenedy maybe, and Josh Murphy ? As to a striker that leaves Ings who is reported doesn’t want to come.
Just hope there are some good surprises within the next eleven days – Sky’s last night soap opera drama series will be excruciating

Unlike the home game, we have had a weeks grace(!) since our last match and also another week before playing again. Does Rafa pick a full strength side?

    Jib,

Sounds like a lovely fella, not.

What was that Chinese proverb ‘..Be careful what you wish for?.’

Also, ‘…out of the frying pan into the fire….’
