I enjoyed the match, I have not read the comments since the match ended but the lads played well. Even though we lost due to the gulf on quality, the odd individual mistake and seemingly an inability to keep possession, we were a team working for each other. A big thumbs up to the away support.

Rafa has forgotten more about coaching than I’ll
    ever know
    However
The choice of Manquillo over Yedlin to start was
    surprising
Sterling never got a sniff off Dummett on the left.
Maybe team selection was with half an eye on
Burnley at home a week on Tuesday ?
The cup on Saturday vs Chelsea he has probably already written off

We need some money spent, if it’s true and we have bid 16 mil for that cm and 8 mil for that rb. Why not spend 24 mil on a quality striker ( Slimani, batsman, Sturridge, Welbeck if he’s available?) and get another two loans in (Kennedy, Musonda kid from Chelsea, or even that brahim Diaz who came on yesterday for city). If we can get in a striker, am and a gk we will stay up, FACT.

TOON did OK yesterday – penalty soft – bet ref would not of given it if it was at the other end.

Diame I thought was immense yesterday and Dummett had a very good game – well-taken goal by Murphy. Darlow also had a good game kept us in it second half

Atsu and Joselu were poor Shelvey average needs to up his game.

Would anyone take a punt on Murphy’s twin Josh – looked good midweek against Chelsea – plenty of pace and trickery.
Like to see a Murphy on each wing
