Newcastle Linked With Loan Deal For Outstanding International Forward

The Mail is reporting that Newcastle are considering making a loan move for Borussia Dortmund forward Andre Schurrle this January since the player has been made available for a loan move.

The 57 times capped German International hasn’t been getting much playing time in Germany this season and Dortmund are said to be willing to pay half of his  £150K/week wages to get him out on loan.

Andre Schurrle played at Chelsea from 2013-2015, and he set up the winning goal in the World Cup final four years ago when Germany beat Argentina 1-0 after extra time.

He is a talented player, and he would be a great addition at Newcastle if we can get afford him.

27-year-old Andre Schurrle – World Cup winning forward

Schurrle has made just six Bundesliga appearances this season, and he has also been struggling with a number of injuries.

Dortmund want him to play in England for a Premier League club on loan for the rest of the season.

The other club said to be interested in the 27-year-old are Stoke City.

Schurrle signed for Borussia Dortmund eighteen months ago on a five-year deal, but he has so far been a big disappointment since he arrived from Wolfsburg for £25M.

If Rafa is indeed interested, he could offer the German International a chance to revitalize his career at Newcastle.

The player has enormous talent, and while he would be expensive, Schurrle has the class and experience we are missing in the Newcastle side this season.

Andre can play on either wing or up front as a striker, and his versatility would also be a benefit to Newcastle.

We’ll have to wait and see, but if Newcastle can sign the player and he remains fit, Schurrle could definitely help us survive in the Premier League this season.

Never saw Schurrle as an out and out CF, one of those is what our priority is. Obvs he is better than what we have so yes please, but another is needed.

Dembele at Celtic, fleece Pards for 15m for Mitro and then 25-30 for Dembele.

Claessen is a fair shout out of what is available as a 10, lot to prove and was ajax captain, sounds a lot like de Jong mind you.

    Anything else is a bonus.

There were no hidden debts when Mike Ashley bought NUFC.
    Myth.
100 million or so all set out in the annual accounts.
Much of that had been used to extend the stadium to 52,000 from 36,000 or so.

About 30 million from future income had been spent. I think on Owen and Luque.
Even I knew about that as a small share holder, so he must of.

Real problem. The financial down turn and poor decisions he made with his money.

Well, there’s substantial ammunition to throw at Ashley without having to dubiously turn paying off the clubs quite substantial debt against him. He didn’t run it up, he paid the f@#ker off, meaning the club didn’t have to. I do agree though that the longer he allows SD to advertise for free, the more it’s to the detriment of the club. He can’t get away with that for evermore. It’s a valuable asset stream that be should be increasingly exploited and used to improve the team. As it is, we’ll continue to get nothing, while our competitors will continue to get increasingly more.

    Hibbit,
Make sure you look after the linesman at your house, Then make sure he is available for our next home game. We could do with at least one of the officials on our side for a change. ( Before anyone says anything I’m kidding It’s really the ref we want at hibbit’s house LOL)
Wow are we really linked with Schurrle. Even if he has been out of form recently I’d take him tomorrow ! He probably just needs a little bit of man management Rafa style ! BUT Would Fatman Cashley shell out half the weekly wage ? That is the big Question !
    PROBABLY NOT !
