Kenedy Arrives In Newcastle Last Night For His Medical – Picture

Some good news being reported that Chelsea’s Brazilian left-sided player Kenedy arrived in Newcastle last night to undergo his medical before he signs on loan for the rest of the season.

That’s good (great) news and here’s one of the first pictures of the lad arriving in Newcastle last night as published in the Shields Gazette today.

A smiling Kenedy – arriving last night at Central Station – doesn’t like socks

Brazilian Emerson Palmieri has agreed to a four-year deal and will sign for Chelsea today after successfully undergoing his medical.

The Roma left-back will now allow Kenedy to leave the Blues and come to Newcastle on loan.

The two moves will be coordinated so that Kenedy will sign for Newcastle after Palmieri signs for Chelsea.

The 21-year-old is seen smiling as he arrives at Newcastle and he’ll get a great welcome from our fans.

This lad can be a future star and can help us survive in the Premier League this season.

And if he can help us do that by playing well he will be one of the heroes this season.

It also means he will not play for Chelsea against us next Sunday in the 4th round of the FA Cup.

And Rafa will now have some valuable time to work with him before our next league game at home to Burnley a week tomorrow; Kenedy will be expected to make his Newcastle debut in that game.

The 21-year-old may be a little surprised by the passion for football he will experience at Newcastle.

When this deal goes through we can celebrate.

In the game against Norwich, this lad looked a very good player – in fact the best player on the field.

Hopefully, Kenedy is the first of four players Rafa will bring in before 31st January.

But we’ll take each one as they arrive – but it’s good if Kenedy signs – Rafa has been after him since last summer.

Comments welcome.

We aren’t getting near that rich list any the son because a lot of standard revenue streams bypass the club these days.

Swans looked very good last night. I know Liverpool struggle against the teams who park the bus but their goal was brilliant. Worked it out all the way from the back to win the corner which lead to the goal. I haven’t seen us play football like that in years.

Ki, Fer, Ayew all happy to receive the ball anywhere, hold onto it, take someone on and relieve the constant bombardment of pressure.
Only player we have who did that was Merino for the first few games when he was fit and Shelvey recently. Yet people want rid of Shelvey.

Not the answer but maybe a good addition – we need a good striker and attacking mid

Kenedy can be a great signing. Can see him getting played at nr.10
Hope there is an option to buy.
Hope those who slag him off have watched him play and are aware of the gulf in class between us and Chelsea. Remember, Kenedy far ahead in the pecking order at Chelsea than Atsu ever was.

One of the worst theories going around & just makes for head shaking logic has to be the one about Benitez only selecting his “own” players.

This is to justify Mbemba being “frozen out” even though he always has been a rare pick. Or Colback the black hole of midfield not even getting close to the matchday bench. Or Mitrovic who is probably equally as effective as Gayle and probably better than Joselump not getting a sniff.

The theory supposes that a top rated manager with limited playing staff and a tight remit to keep us in the league would blatantly disregard better players through pig-headedness. Because that’s going to help him keep his job, reputation, credibility etc…..

Not the Striker Tsunki, I think Rafa wants someone with a bit of beef. I do think Kenedy has been brought in to play off him though. Atsu Kenedy Murph is real pace for playing counter attacking, one too punch style.

Now, if only we had a player who could hold it up or flick it on for these guys…

good to see priority one sorted out, oh shoot it’s not, it’s just another fullback.
Gamez Lazzar, Manquillio, Yedlin, Dummett Mbemba Kennedy.
GK and a CF are what we need, not another kid or defender.

    wait i’m wrong again

catchy, you are wrong, he isn’t a full back. I’ll go skinny dipping in the Tyne if he starts Kenedy at LB

the man walks on water and the sun shines out of his backside, the man can do no wrong with some of you.

if i hadn’t see his list of trophies i would honestly say he is the spanish version of Pardew, it has nothing at all to do with playing staff, but all todo with how he wants to play the game.

If it was playing staff, who could he have bought to make Real madrid better?, he had them defensive too

    is he a GK ?

    or a CF ?

do we need more wingers or defenders ?

i never thought creating chances was our problem, i thought it was putting them away or stopping them going in

    Catchy, settle down man.

If Rafa plays Kenedy at 10 then yes he is addressing a problem area.
If he plays him LB or LW then I will too question what the point of bringing him in was as we have decent cover in those areas.

But what is the point in prattling on like a derange moron before the lad has even kicked a ball.

    While Rafa was at RM
he was never lower than second
    2 points adrift

Currently RM under the great Zizi
    are 4th
    19 (yes nineteen !!)
    points behind Barca
