Newcastle will play at Chelsea on Sunday afternoon (1:30 pm kickoff) in the 4th round of the FA Cup and we have to hope that by then we have at least one new player into the club – in addition to Kenedy.
Newcastle have another vitally important Premier League game the following Wednesday evening against Burnley (7:45 pm KO) at home, so Rafa will not play his best side at Stamford Bridge, and he has to prioritize the Premier League.
But that doesn’t say we cannot field a good side against Chelsea.
We also play at Crystal Palace a week on Sunday (2:15pm KO) so there are two league games in a short four days that will be vital to our survival, and we really need to win both games.
That’s unlikely unless we can start scoring some goals.
First things first and we could shock the Blues on Sunday if we can play somewhere near our best form.
