Feyenoord Tired Of Indecision – Want Jorgensen Deal Done Soon – Or Not At All

The Chronicle are reporting that Newcastle will soon get a deadline date to sign Feyenoord striker Nicolai Jorgensen or else he will not be sold this month.

Newcastle’s second bid was £15M for the striker yesterday but that’s at least £5M short of the Dutch club’s valuation of the player,

The Chronicle are reporting that sources in Holland have told them that Feyenoord want an answer on whether Newcastle still want to sign their striker – as talks have gone on and on.

Nicolai Jorgensen – Feyenoord striker

It’s typical Newcastle, who are undecided whether to bid again for the striker or whether they will go after an alternative – who would be cheaper.

Manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has said that if they are to sell Jorgensen he would want a replacement brought in – and time is running out fast in this window.

Feyenoord will play PSV Eindhoven at the De Kuip Stadium next Wednesday night, and it’s a huge game for them.

Wednesday is also deadline day and it’s an important game for Feyenoord.

They don’t want to be working on a last minute transfer bid from Newcastle which is exactly what Newcastle may have been planning.

It could help Newcastle to make up their mind.

That’s something they have not been very good at with Mike Ashley as owner – because they don’t like to spend too much money.

Hibbit. Just going on our past experiences of Dutch players, and I think for £20m there are better options although we’ve left it late as usual and would rather have Jorgensen brought in than no one.

It’s pathetic. Fannying on trying to get him on the cheap so his club will play him on Wednesday so we won’t be able to sign him.

Hernandez would do a job if paired with mitro or someone like Crouch or even give the loon Ballotelli a go as i believe he’s available.

Just think the risk with Jorgensen is huge compared to someone like little pea or Crouch, prem experience is essential imo.

Never seen this Jorgensen play so I have no idea if he will be a good signing or not, I only hope that if he comes he is more productive than some of our recent purchases from Dutch clubs.

A lot of people are saying that he must be better than what we have, really, the only problem with Mitrovic is that Rafa doesn’t like him, that doesn’t mean that Mitro is a poor striker, all it means is that Rafa doesn’t like him, and Rafa is only human, he does get things wrong as well as we do !

Little pea is dreadful, Crouch, he is a plank but in fairness to him he still does a decent job so Yeah, I can see the logic in going for him, especially with his PL experience.

    from the Evening Standard

Borussia Dortmund bosses insist Arsenal must pay £60m or there will be no deal for striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January. … Borussia Dortmund insist Arsenal will have to increase their bid for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to £60 million if they want to sign him.
think we can cross him off your list LOL

It seems to me it would be easier negotiating with the “mashley in the moon – oops I meant man in the moon” than Mike Ashley,

It all seems to have a familiar ring about it – doesn’t it Amanda?

I see arrons and woodman are confirmed as potentially set to leave on loan with talks on going.. Kennedy is obviously coming in for Arrons in the squad sense. SO if woodman is going on loan it looks indicative that a new keeper will be coming in.

jorgensen may be a fine player. seems to be knocking them in, but every time we
low ball a bid for him (or anyone for that matter) the price seems to keep rising. ashley and company
NEVER go in with what would be considered a serious bid thats closer to the asking price.

I’m surprised we even got Kennedy on loan.

Think Rafa looks pretty relaxed in his interviews over he last few weeks, as if he has nothing to lose. He will see the rest of the season as a challenge to keep us up with whatever squad he has and then he’ll be off in the summer. For the record i think we will stay up just.

Like the fans, he probably realises Ashley and co are messing him around again in the transfer market.

I don’t know if any of you watch the bundesliga. there is a quality LB playing for Augsburg called Phillip Max, would have been a good creative player for us.

Never mind, hopefully Ashley buggers off sometime in the near future.

It’s probably the equivalent of signing a striker from the championship imo. He might make the step up or he might not.

I would rather sign a tried and tested premier league striker in our current predicament. I’d actually be surprised if this deal happens to be honest.

Ashley won’t bugger off anytime soon. Once he gets the TV money, the club is self sufficient so he can continue to get free SD advertising from a club that costs him nothing to run

Changing the subject completely, and seeing that I have been off the site for a while, busy work schedule, this may have been done to death, I apologise if it has, but what is the view of signing Kenedy, as with Jorgensen I have not seen him play but based on the fact that Chelsea have signed a replacement who will be a reserve then I’m am doubtful about him, if Chelsea have to sign a squad player because they feel that Kenedy isn’t good enough to be their squad player then for me that sets my alarm bells ringing

Brilliant news for Charnley that Feyenoord are getting frustrated and feel that they are wasting their time.

Come Thursday Charnley will be bleating that he couldn’t get him over the line.
