Alan Shearer Sums Up Newcastle Perfectly

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was born and bred in Newcastle and he’s just like the rest of us – he’s a fan of his famous hometown club Newcastle United.

With one hour to go in last night’s transfer window following our 1-1 home draw against Burnley, he tweeted out his praise for the Newcastle fans – who of course love the club and love Rafa Benitez.

Here’s an old quote from Kevin Keegan that was shown in a new flag unfurled last night:

Simply brilliant!

The ownership again has failed to spend any real money in this transfer window and left things perilously late to bring in two of our three loan signings.

Newcastle have a decent chance to survive now – but Mike Ashley has to sell the club soon.

That’s the real hope of our fans at the moment.

Survive in the Premier League and get new owners in before summer – in that order.

Alan Shearer – thinly veiled criticism of Mike Ashley

Here’s what Alan tweeted last night and you can feel his frustration with those running Newcastle.

Pamela Anderson used to be hot, but now she is just a 50year old woman,

Rafa used to be good, now he is just a run of the mill pardewesk manager.

Perez and Joselu had terrible games yesterday, Perez seemed to do nothing but jog around not looking to be passed the ball, and Joselu played passy with their keeper, but Rafa in all of his wisdom thought it would be great to keep that forward paring for 85 mins. unacceptable.

i really don’t care what you think, but every game Joselu has started is a game our most expensive striker could have stated, it looks like Rafa has put his own personal feelings about a player above the clubs league position.

you can bleat on as much as you like about rafa not having money, but money has nothing to do with not playing Mitro. Money has nothing to do with how poor Joselu is, Rafa again in his wisdom thought spending 5 million on joselu was good business, well last was just one game where playing him instead of mitro or armstrong could have cost the club 100+ million.

defending him just shows your blind loyalty.

    but keep clapping

Inclined to somewhat agree. Playing Joselu week in week out has cost us points for sure.

Kennedy had a very good debut but he wasn’t better than Diame, I think.

Bet it’s still not resolved, re Mitro. If he scores a lot of goals, one side will say, see, told you. The other side will say well that’s the b division, he’s found his level 😉 We’ll only know if he somehow plays for us again.

LF, you said it. We’ve always needed a 9 + 10. Hope we now have that. On Diame, he shocked me last night 🙂

This window has a hint that MA will sell the club in summer. 3x loan deals says it all.

Don’t get how any one can blame the position we’re in on Rafa ..
yeah maybe he could of played mitro but the faith and trust in him has been lost. You don’t know what’s been said behind closed doors, what type of example would it set to other players if he gave him games after constantly harming the team. Joselu is shite but he’s not a liability and in the closing minutes yesterday was working hard for the team. I’m sure if it was up to Rafa he’d of had a 30mill striker up front…
On the other side of it .. who the hell would you get to manage this joke of club if he left. Joke of a club ran by a clown

Deloufeu looked very very good last night for Watford why weren’t we in for him?

If the transfer window showed anything it exposed SSN as Ashley’s propaganda outlet. All this cock and bull about nufc breaking their transfer record of 16 years spending big money they were never intending to spend anything it was all lies lies.

Kennedy and Diame had a decent game last night, but there were too many who were just atrocious : Atsu had a stinker, so did Merino who fouled more than he passed. As for Josselu : my dog could score more goals than him. Burnley werre terrible and there for the picking and we just made a balls of it as usual. Every game now becomes a six-pointer : things are looking bleak.

Voted for Diame MOM. Firebug666 – the pic that Ed has put up there of the banners gives you an idea of how impressive it was.

First penalty awarded to us this season and Joselu must have had his eyes shut when he took it. As long as i have a hole in my backside he will never be a striker. Not at this level. I’m sorry it’s not personal, He is making Shola look like Messi.
On the transfer window. Fatman you are a greedy knob head. OR You are intending to sell after all ! I hope it’s the latter !
Fatman, You will definitely go down in local History up there with Thatcher the milk snatcher. I never thought anyone could have toppled her from the perch she had in the North East.
