Here’s Our Predicted Team To Play Manchester United

At some point, Rafa will need to take some chances if we are to survive in the Premier League this season.

And Rafa could well play all three loan signings in the starting level tomorrow.

If we assume, the three new players start the team almost picks itself, and it will be interesting to see how Slimani and Dubravka play ion what is another massive game for us.

Ciaran Clark is fit and should keep his place even though Florian Lejeune is fit again.

Martin Dubravka – to make debut tomorrow?

Here’s the side that could start tomorrow in a 4-2-3-1 formation and in front of another sold-out St. James’ Park:

Yedlin Lascelles (c) Clark Dummett
Diame Merino
Murphy Perez Kenedy

That looks a strong team and hopefully, we can start the game strongly – and then keep it up.

The only doubt is who Rafa will play in the attacking midfield position and Mikel Merino could well get his chance to show he’s back to full fitness.

I would play Ritchie in that position instead of Perez, or switch Ritchi with Murphy

    Not Shelvey next to Diame?

Totally agree not playing shelvey from the start, he doesn’t track back enough for me, otherwise our strongest eleven.
If we lose tomorrow expect Ashley to consider his financial options, the possibility of relegation and the loss of any potential buyers preferred manager might provoke him to accept a lower more reasonable offer for our club. Let’s hope for a much needed win first.
