When Will Newcastle Play At Wembley?

riday Tottenham Hotspur drew 2-2 at Rochdale in the FA Cup 5th round yesterday with Steve Davies equalizing for the League One side three minutes into stoppage time.

The replay will now be on 28th February and if Tottenham can win the game, and that would be expected –  they will play either Sheffield Wednesday or Swansea City in the last eight.

The quarterfinals are scheduled for the weekend of March 16th.

Our game at Wembley with Spurs is currently scheduled for Friday, 16th March and that would need to be rearranged.

Mauricio Pochettino – Spurs manager

And there is a two-week International break from 19th March to 31st March when we play Huddersfield at home.

And that means we will have a three-week break between the home games against Southampton and Huddersfield – two other clubs fighting relegation.

Other teams will have two weeks without a game so that’s not too bad, and Rafa is always good when he has time to coach the players.

Of course, if we are still in a relegation struggle or we lose to the Saints on March 10th that could be a very long wait for Geordie fans.

Here are our next 7 games as currently scheduled:

Date Fixture KO time
Sat 24 Feb Bournemouth vs Newcastle 15:00
Sat 3 Mar Liverpool vs Newcastle 17:30
Sat 10 Mar Newcastle vs Southampton 15:00
Fri 16 Mar Tottenham vs Newcastle 16:00
Sat 31 Mar Newcastle vs Huddersfield 15:00
Sat 7 Apr Leicester vs Newcastle 15:00
Sat 14 Apr Newcastle vs Arsenal 15:00

That game at Wembley could be crucial since it will come later in the season now.

We need four wins in our final 11 games to be safe – and the sooner we can get them the better.

Jail – I think you missed a couple of items off Jibs’ CV.
He was also a commander in the SAS and was a stowaway in Apollo 11 when Armstrong and Aldrin landed on the Moon in 1969. He also taught Eric Clapton to play the guitar.

    Mister Tuff,
Also good friends with Gallowgate flags who’ve got far too much class to create a flag having a dig at Mike Ashley.

beer – the amount of words he writes on here -could amount to half a dozen books.
He probably does not have the time at the moment to fixate on writing a book as he is otherwise engaged in research into finding new antibiotocs to kill superbugs – all being conducted from his garden shed laboratory

Jib – change your game man before it’s too late. We know you are a rugby man – surely there is an opening in ladies rugby that would reflect your knowledge about sport more accurately.
Failing that – ladies wrestling could be a starter.
