He’s Our Man Of The Match – But Concerns About Him

Dwight Gayle scored two goals for Newcastle in our 2-2 draw last Saturday, and it looked like Dwight is back to his goalscoring best.

It’s the first time this season that any player has scored two in the league, although Ayoze Perez did score a brace in the FA Cup 3rd round against Luton Town in January.

Both goals were opportunist goals, and Dwight really seems to been enjoying his football since the beginning of the year.

The last time he scored was in early December, so it was good for him and good for Newcastle he’s now playing well.

But as we mentioned this morning, Rafa took him off after 78 minutes as a precaution because his hamstrings were tight.

Let’s hope he can keep playing for us since we are again short of strikers, with Mitro gone and Slimani injured.

Dwight’s now top of the goalscoring charts at Newcastle with 5 goals.

The most he has ever scored in the Premier League is 7 goals with Crystal Palace four years ago in the 2013-2104 season.

And another scientific fact is that as soon as I post the bus leaves the depot.

For those idiots who think the world is globe shaped here are the simple facts.

The earth is a circular disc which sits on the back of 4 enormous elephants who are continuously walking around to give it a rotating movement and they are upon the back of a giant space turtle that is swimming through space.

The Sun, Moon and the stars revolve around the Earth.

These facts courtesy of an eminent learned but now regrettably deceased man of science, may he rest in peace.

Another fact that a lot of people will find hard to accept is that Joselu will score a hat trick this coming Saturday.

I’ll answer for Beefman, most of the other planets have the same setup but one of them has a wonky disc as one of it’s elephants fell off and crashed into the Earth raising a huge mountain chain.

I’m surprised Shelvey comes in 2nd place for the vote so far. Missed a gilt edge chance and then didn’t track runners for both goals…..both times he’s stood with hands on his knees whilst others try to defend!!
