Watch Demba Ba’s Brilliant Goal For New Club Goztepe – Video

Since Demba Ba left Newcastle in January 2013 he has played for five different clubs and he is currently plying his trade with Turkish club Goztepe since last month.

On 31 January, Ba joined Turkish Super Lig side Goztepe S.K. on a free transfer.

Hey, Newcastle could have signed the 32-year-old.

Ba played only 58 times for Newcastle but scored one goal in every two appearances and finished with a terrific 28 goals.

He was in the Newcastle side that finished 5th in the table in 2012.

Demba Ba – very popular while on Tyneside

But he wanted to move on from Newcastle and joined Chelsea five years ago.

He can still score goals though – look at this one for his new club in Turkey – Goztepe.

    Yet another player whose ego ruined ended his time at Newcastle United and derailed his career. José Enrique, Yohan Cabaye, Loic Remy and Andros Townsend come to mind. All performed well for the Toon and couldn’t handle it when they left.

    The best bit of that goal is robbing the defender
    bringing it out.
    Reminiscent of a famous Beardsley goal.

    Doesn’t matter which league you’re in – scoring a goal like that can only be done if you have class in your soul and dynamite in your boots. Wasted in Turkey.

    Come back Dumba just for a couple of months will do. Slim is also like that or should I say he used to be. Not sure about now.
