Video – Rafa Inspects Snow Covered Training Ground In Shorts – Nothing To See – Except Sports Direct Signs

Rafa Benitez always wears shorts at training so we can see his knobbly knees.

And even yesterday, when it was snowing in Newcastle and the training fields, were covered with the white stuff Rafa was out there looking at the conditions.

You couldn’t see anything – whoops – sorry – we stand corrected there were several Sports Direct sings visible.

If its Newcastle you always see at least one Sports Direct advertisement.

The manager eventually decided to move the training indoors, but Rafa has shown while at Newcastle he’s a tough cookie in cold weather.

Of course, he did have six years at Liverpool which is almost as cold as it is in Newcastle.

The Mag have said today it shows he’s a real Geordie – and they are probably right on that!

It’s going to be really tough at Liverpool on Saturday and if we can get anything at all out of that game – that will be a success in itself.

Here’s the video of Rafa inspecting the snow-covered training ground yesterday and it ends up with the lads doing some training indoors.

Fans seem confident we can survive the drop – let’s hope that happens!!!

are these the only players that have a chance of going to the world cup finals?

    Mitrovic
    Diamé
    Lazaar
    Merino
    Kenedy
    Shelvey
    Lejeune
    Lascelles

    Jane, only Mitro for me.

Diame’s retired from international football I believe.

No way Merino or Kenedy are going. They’d have to be in world class form for every game until the end of the season.

Doubt very much that either Shelvey or Lejeune will go.

Or Lascelles for that matter, even if we’d all take him.

    But Lazaar???!!! Seriously?

Jane, just checked and you’re right. I thought they’d qualified because they finished 2nd in our group but hadn’t realised they lost out on the playoffs as the worst runners-up.

    Unlucky.

Slovakia missed out on the play-offs because the top 8 second placed teams qualified but they were 9th!

I always feared that Benitez may get enough of the N.E. weather and move on. Oh well, that’s those fears quelled— there he is walking around in the snow like Colonel Kilgore enjoying the scent of napalm in the morning.

Rob, I heard from a reliable news source that bears have been known to relieve themselves in areas of dense arboreal vegetation.

Black n white – are you sure your source is reliable? I’ve only ever seen them crap in zoos.

The mackems, however, I’ve seen them crap in their own stadium. I think that should become the new standard – do scumbags sh!t at the match?
