Can Newcastle Get Something At Liverpool On Saturday?

Newcastle still have to play four times this season against a top six Premier League side.

We have Liverpool away on Saturday and Tottenham away on 16th March, although with Tottenham winning 6-1 in their FA Cup replay at home (Wembley) to Rochdale last night the Tottenham game will have to be rearranged.

It was scheduled for Friday, March 16th which is the weekend when the next round of the FA Cup will be played.

The games at Liverpool and Tottenham are probably our most difficult games still to play.

Then we also have Arsenal and Chelsea at home, and we may be able to get something out of those two games.

It’s a tough one on Saturday at Anfield, and the lads will need to be at their very best to get something out of this game.

That depressing list would suggest we should be over the bloody moon with A point and no nonsense from Munster saying we should have won if we’d attacked more.

I’m not too worried about a loss just hoping Ian Toon doesn’t repost that gibberish.

There was always a tangible disparity between us and the scousers even during the best of times but i don’t think the gulf in capability has been so wide as it is now. The fact we held them to a draw lat time out was amazing tbh. I hope it’s no more than a 2-0 loss so we can come away no worse than many. A draw would be a massive point.

If that tripe is reposted then surely not even the blog saviour Jib can stop the place from floundering.

Do you have no shame, or worse still, know the difference between right and wrong?

Let’s be honest here we’d all be ecstatic with a draw at Anfield. We gotta put the pressure on them like we did against Manu , we need a work rate of 200%.

While I mention honesty and while it’s quiet…..Beefy I’ve always had concerns with the legitimacy of the moon landing. Don’t tell anyone else though… 😉

The two keepers could be the difference on what kind result we get. I think Liverpool still have defensive issues, because of that I think we will create chances I would love it if they had a dodgy keeper day and our’s has another blinder, more than anything, I just hope we take our chances. IMO I think it would be worth a go sticking Kenedy up front if Gayle isn’t fit, that way we may get 90mins out of Kenedy, play Murphy on the left.
