Newcastle have been interested in signing 27-year-old Galatasaray forward Garry Rodrigues for almost a year now and we had a bid last summer and then one in January turned down by Galatasaray.
There’s a report in Turkish Football that says that West Ham put in a bid for Rodrigues last week but it was turned down by the Turkish club.
There’s no doubt that Galatasaray would love a bidding war to start for their player who they will sell in the summer.
Garry has scored 7 goals and has 9 assists in 31 total appearances for his club this season.
Previous reports have suggested the minimum Galatasaray will accept for their forward (winger/striker) is €15M which is around £13M.
What we are wondering now is whether Newcastle are thinking of bidding for the player now.
If not then West Ham could tie up the player by agreeing a transfer fee with the club and then wages with the player.
Then the deal would get signed on July 1st.
That would all be dependent on West Ham United still being a Premier League club this summer.
What do you think?

Comment #1I think transfer rumours involving
Wet Spam can be largely ignored
until that particular house gets put
in order.

I wonder which other bloggers have used
that phrase for West Ham to get me linked
with in Jail’s tiny mind.
