What a fantastic job Rafa Benitez has done this season at Newcastle with the team winning 2-1 at Leicester this afternoon to make it three wins on the trot.
This year since the beginning of January we are starting to come away with 19 points from our 11 league games and we have 13 points in the last 6 games and defeats only at Manchester City and Liverpool.
Newcastle are now in 10th place in the league and that’s the second highest we have ever finished in the 11 years of Mike Ashley’s reign at the club.
Newcastle fans have flooded Twitter to pay home to our manager.
Did I ever say he was the perfect manager for Newcastle United?

I adore Rafa & this #NUFC team. We’ve had better players over the past few years but never a group that you could be proud of like these. Can’t question any of them for effort. All the media ‘geordies are so fickle’ was wrong – all we wanted was a team that cares!

By the way, what a job Rafa’s done at Newcastle! Any other manager in the league probably takes them down. Should be the first name on Arsenal’s shortlist. If only Ashley would sell #NUFC to someone worthy of Rafa’s ability, he could put that brilliant club back where it belongs.

The dizzy heights of 10th place!! Who would of thought it! Well done lads & especially King Rafa! ? #NUFC ????

Many things Rafa done since coming to #nufc deservedly getting praise. But making @Lascelles16 captain has to be up there with the best of them. The lad is a born leader and oozes class. Just hope he can see what he and Rafa could potentially achieve with new owners. Yanited ??

The way the pundits went on at the start of the season, we were relegated before we had even kicked a ball, a championship team without a hope in hell, to do what Rafa has done with virtually no money, fuck spending £300m & winning the league, Rafa is miraculous #nufc

Where have all Rafa hating Newcastle fans gone? Fickle is not the word. Great team performance today from a group of players playing for each other and their manager. A manager that has improved plenty of them! Hopefully it continues! #rafa #nufc #united

We’d have lost or drawn that game 3 months ago, not only have the players improved but Rafa has definitely taught them how to see games out. Delightful #nufc

Amazing what having a decent manager for a couple of seasons can do. The way some of these young players have come on since Rafa took over is incredible. Hope FMA doesn’t sell them in the summer. #nufc

IF we finish in the top half of the table, Rafa surely has to be in the reckoning for manager of the year but considering how well Burnley have done i hope it’s Sean Dyche (guarantee it’ll end up being Pep though ?) #NUFC

We’re in the top 10. Bloody hell. All about Rafa #nufc

Safe to say Rafa has once again proven he is a top bracket manager with #nufc yet?
