Is This Newcastle’s New Home Shirt For Next Season?

It’s about that time when the new strips for next season should be making an appearance on the Internet.

And sure enough, Footy Headlines has put out what they believe is the new home shirt for Newcastle for next season.

That looks neat and tidy but no news yet on the shorts and the socks.

Usually, the new strip is worn in the last game of the season which is on May 13th against Chelsea.

That’s a tough game for us, but a win in our new strip would be an excellent way to end what has become a very good season.

What do you think of this new shirt?

Howay The Lads!!

Getting his favourite shampoo mixed up with Gorilla glue is too good for Ashley

LOL – Isco? Yes please, in our collective dreams, unless Rafa knows something we don’t. He was linked with Man City for £75 Million and Real have warned them off.

The shirt – not really interested. It’s what the stripes represent more than anything that matters. Shame they’re defaced with that awful logo. Better than Wonga, but not by much in my eyes.

Jail, nice to see you’ve got your mojo back after last night’s blogger’s block… a bowl of bran always helps, I find.

Why oh why is the Puma symbol gold. A Black & White jersey should be easy to make look good, and yet Puma struggles so much.

Oh and I’ve just noticed the gold puma (as mentioned above) and instead of the black stripe being in the middle it’s now white.

    Hardly radical is it.

I was of the understanding that they used a gold puma sign because of the possible issues/ridicule a black cat would bring. What with our unwashed league one neighbors having that nickname.

They did last season look at having a white cat on one of the black stripes but depending on the size of each shirt depended on where the cat would lie. So they came up with a gold cat across any stripe working better

    Nooooooooooooo.
I love the black and grey, third choice strip. Bring that one in. Get rid of all other colours. Tell Puma that their puma has to actual be black, …like a real, …er, …puma. Or, they can F off. With Rafa, with a modicum of investment, with a proper AM and a clinical finisher, they will be lining up to support, even just associate with NUFC next year. We don’t need to pander to the Puma’s of this world. (Unfortunately, Arseley will realise this and not sell – thus no investment, no Rafa, no success, no solid identity in the strip and the Pumas and the Arseleys of this world will bend NUFC over the table….
