The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards is reporting that he believes that former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini will soon be moving to West Ham.
Sounds like Pellegrini to West Ham is almost done #NUFC

Manuel Pellegrini – has a proven record of success at the highest level of the game
West Ham recently released a statement saying they were well on their way to signing a top class manager:
“I would like to reassure our supporters that we have left no stone unturned in selecting the individual we believe is the right man to take West Ham United forward.”
“We have followed a process that is progressing entirely to plan and are now very close to reaching an agreement.”
“This is an exciting time for our football club. We are preparing to appoint a manager who has a proven record of success at the highest level of the game.”
That second paragraph could never have been about Rafa Benitez because they have not made a formal approach to Newcastle for the manager.
But they have been talking to Pellegrini and his wages were a sticking point.
Pellegrini has won the Premier League and League Cup with Manchester City and has managed clubs like River Plate, San Lorenzo and Villareal to success.
He is too talented a coach not to be managing in the Premier League, and he will be welcomed back.
He is also a gentleman of the game.
Comments welcome.

Comment #163Rob…if you think the blog have become toxic the last few days (which has actually been some of the finest in a while) then you most surely be new to this blog (or you haven’t really cared in the past about the well-being of the blog!
…don’t worry that has been a common trait on here! This blog has been a lulz outlet for a lot of people…right guys 😉

The term ‘Let’s agree to disagree ‘ is rarely used
The craic used to be great but now whenever you think about posting stuff, you think twice. Always somebody knows better and you read folk being shot down every thread.
It’s a shame

I’m a trumped up non-entity? No idea why you feel the need for that. It’s all a game of opinions I suppose, I was debating a point though, not you.
Have a lovely weekend.

Comment #169Can’t see Lambert going the the unwashed, drop 2 divisions in a few weeks? Rumour was they asked Wilder from Shef U and he turned them down too.
Moyes to Stoke? Again can’t see it, Moyes sees himself as a top 10 premier manager, so again can’t see him dropping.
