5 Top Six Sides In First 8 Games – Newcastle Fans React To Horrific Start To Season

Newcastle have to play Tottenham, the two Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal in the first eight games of next season.

So how come Liverpool are not in there?

🙂

It’s a very difficult start for Newcastle and we will do well if we can get a decent number of points from those first 8 games.

Let’s hope this will wake owner Mike Ashley up and that he will back Rafa to bring some top players into the club this summer.

We must strengthen the team for next season.

Rafa Benitez – how could you do this to me?

Here are some of the comments from Newcastle fans on Twitter.

    Ooh the bus is moving fast today;

    Someone mentioned Valon Berisha,couldn’t remember who,is one of the players I want us to sign myself, along with that Lille Mfdr Maia. Could be another Merino.Couple of bargain buys I would like to see.Mariano Diaz or Alassane Plea for striker department instead of the likes of paceless Bas Dost,Rondon etc..
    And hoping someone from the championship takes Joselu off the squad.

    Fixtures are what they are, usually important to get a good start to build confidence but you play everyone twice anyway. Stitched up around Christmas though, away to Liverpool and away tomwatford couple days after.

    I was thinking, how many posters suggested Ashley may change his ways with Rafa after last season? Well he has, instead of low balling players like we all asked, he’s just all out stopped bidding altogether. We should have seen this coming lol.

    If we start the season with the intensity, confidence and work rate that we displayed against Chelsea then we could potentially shock a few of the bigger teams who make take a while to get into their stride

    Really need that quality striker and left winger now though more than ever !

    Probably easier to face a tough team right at the start of the season. Anyways looking at that lista and whether the games are home or away I reckon ManC is the only game I fully expect us to lose.
