There’s a report in the Italian outlet  Tutto Mercato that Newcastle are monitoring the situation of Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro.

Leicester City, Everton and West Ham United are also mentioned in the article as the other Premier League clubs interested in the 25-year-old midfielder.

Juventus will want €20M for their midfielder who joined the club four years ago from Genoa.

Newcastle have scouted the 25-year-old 4 times capped Italian international, and other reports have mentioned Newcastle have already made a bid of £11M for the player.

It looks like Juventus will play hardball on the fee especially with four Premier League clubs interested in the player.

As we mentioned €20M is their asking price, and that’s around £17.6M, and probably too much to pay for Newcastle.

Sturaro usually plays in central midfield and can play in either the attacking or holding role.

He can also play at right back.

Sturaro has played 90 times with 3 goals and 5 assists for the Italian Champions over the last four seasons and last term he made 19 appearances.
