There was news last week in the Sun that Stoke had put in a bid of £10M for Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle.
Gayle has shown he can score goals in the Championship and he could be worth a lot of money to clubs like Stoke City who are hoping to come straight back up next season after being relegated last month.
He could be worth more than £10M if his goals get the club promoted as they did for Newcastle when he scored 23 goals in only 34 league appearances for us.
That was a phenomenal performance by Gayle and he was injured for most of the second half of the season with hamstring problems.

The Chronicle are reporting that Rafa will only sell him if he has another striker lined up to come in.
Rafa is willing to sell Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic this summer, but it seems he wants to keep the former Crystal Palace striker who improved his overall game under Rafa’s guidance this year.
But Gayle scored only 6 Premier League goals last season and has struggled in his career to score in the Premier League.
Newcastle have told Stoke it will take more than £10M to get Gayle this summer and maybe £15M is what Rafa is looking for?
Dwight is also happy on Tyneside with his young family and doesn’t want to leave the club this summer.
Gayle’s attitude is first class, and if he can score goals for us next season, it will have been an excellent decision to keep him this summer.
