Newcastle Keen To Sign Senegal Star After World Cup Finishes

Fanatik is reporting that Galatasaray want Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye back at the club, after he signed for Stoke in January.

He was brought in to try to save Stoke from relegation and was signed on the last day of the January window for a fee of £14M on a four and a half year deal.

We wonder if the player had a release clause put in his contract in case Stoke were relegated – which they were.

Fanatik has had several articles out, and clubs like Newcastle, Everton, and Wolves said to be interested in signing the midfielder.

27-year-old Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye

It would probably take £14M to sign him at Newcastle, and we don’t know if that is too much for the club although there seems definite interest coming from the Magpies.

And £14M  is not too much for newly promoted and ambitious Wolves who will likely spend more money in this summer’s transfer window than Newcastle.

Badou Ndiaye admits he misses playing at Galatasaray and has this to say:

“I do miss Galatasaray and I know you are going to ask if I will return,” Ndiaye said.

“I can’t say anything about my future right now or where I will be playing next season.

“I will make a final decision over which club I will play for at the end of the World Cup.”

It could be a while before Senegal are eliminated from the World Cup – yes – we know technically they could win it and not be eliminated. at all

Ndiaye started in yesterday’s  2-2 draw against Japan, and they now have a good chance of reaching the knockout rounds.

If Senegal can draw their final game against Columbia, they will go through although the South Americans are in good form having beaten Poland 3-0 yesterday.

Group favorites Poland have lost their first two games and are now eliminated.

Badou Ndiaye is a good player with some class and could be a good addition to Rafa’s squad at Newcastle.

What do you think?

Been impressed with him every time I have seen him play !

Imagine him and Diame bulldozing midfielders out of the way

“I will make a final decision over which club I will play for at the end of the World Cup.”

And this is one reason we should not be too surprised we haven’t yet made any progress with transfers

    Other reasons are available.

LCBP, I can see what you mean with that, however, I hate to see a team with 2 DM’s in it. One or the other, but not both. That would be like England lining up with Dier and Henderson in the centre. It just doesn’t float my boat at all.

    @G

True although some teams need to be roughed up a little bit at the start of a game! Or to close games off

Oh dear, the evidence just keeps mounting. Notice the usage of “geet lush”.

The way its going is a lot of teams this summer are not going to have all their new players in for pre season which could make for quite a disjointed start to league

Still no news on Colback. As things stand, the club may as well use him as backup next season. Colback did have some good games alongside Shelvey at times; although, gotta give that number 4 shirt to someone more deserving.

Ancient C, the phrase ‘geet lush’ is pretty much endemic to the entire North Shields area where my wife and her school friends are from and they use it all the time. Pretty sure Jib has always stated he’s from Shields, so….

£14M and we can’t compete against Wolves for £14M another one on the list of maybe but bollocks we can’t afford him or we were outbid by a Sunday league club or whatever Are you having a laugh ? £125M coming in as well as money from sales etc. WTF is going on at this club ?
You FAT GREEDY COCK-ney twat ! ( Twat is a fish ) Where is all the money going ? Where is the money from advertising your Sports Direct Sweat shop outlets ? Where has all of the profits go over the past 11 years from the players sales etc etc.
This is the reason why he won’t leave SJP the profit that he is salting away without real question. It’s a real shame that the INLAND REVENUE won’t investigate him. He’s as bent as a nine bob note and the sad thing is he’s getting away with it at the expense of our club , As he knows the supporters will just keep coming back every year after a moan and a drink then off to the match again paying your hard earned money. Laughing all the way to the offshore accounts he no doubt has.
AND has anyone noticed the common photo that is normally used when he is sitting in the crowd next to penfold with his hand on the side of his face with his 2 fingers up at everyone around him ? He is laughing at us and taking our money and telling us all to F==K OFF as well !
    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

Geet lush isn’t just from the North Shields area. It was also very commonly used from Marden high school and Whitley Bay High school and the surrounding areas as well, However most of them would probably prefer not to remember that sort of expression away from the dinner table or in public BUT give them a drink on a Friday / Saturday night and let them loose in the golden days of Whitley Bay and they sharp forgot their P’s & Q’s.
North Shields although a little rough rounds the edges has many good affluent people. You seem to be scoffing at it ? If this is the case then I can only assume that you are not from the North East as any true Geordie wouldn’t take the p##s ?

I really believe that Ashley doesn’t trust Rafa to spend the money and really looking at some of his buys I sort of understand why. It would appear that he would rather buy established deadwood players in preference to the clubs younger players who have the potential to be developed and could if given the opportunity push on. I’m referring to the likes of Mitrovitch,Mbemba,Mbabu,Sterry,Gibson,Armstrong,Thauvin, etc

Rafa’s used to buying and working with prima Donna players at mega rich clubs and this isn’t NUFC we are more the sort of Sean Dyche club at this time fantastic supporters but their it ends , until Ash leaves.
