Newcastle United have announced their new away strips today for next season, and there’s no surprise there.
The strips have been leaked on the Internet, and it’s a shirt that was used during Kevin Keegan’s Entertainers’ era.
And that’s fitting now we have Rafa back and trying to make Newcastle successful again.
If only the owner would cooperate in making the club worth over £600M.
Here are some of the photos of the strips taken from the Newcastle website.
Here’s some information from the Newcastle website:
The kit was revealed on Monday in a specially-commissioned ‘fabric’ illustration with several city landmarks as a backdrop, including the Tyne Bridge, St. James’ Park and the stadium’s Sir Bobby Robson statue.
A number of former players who wore the original kit – David Ginola, Warren Barton, and Les Ferdinand – also feature, while there’s a special nod to the late Pavel Srnícek, who was part of the Entertainers squad.
Newcastle United’s brand new PUMA away kit will be available at the stadium store and at nufcdirect.com from 3rd August 2018.
They are excellent looking strips – and we can get quite a few points wearing those strips away from home next season.
That’s an especially nice touch to have Pavel is a Geordie in the background.
Howay the Lads!!
