A few days ago the Sun reported that Newcastle would be interested in signing Club Brugge winger Anthony Limbombe after his proposed £11M move to Huddersfield had broken down.
Some reports have that fee as high as £17M.
And there is news from Belgium outlet HLN that Rafa Benitez is moving in to try to sign the 24-year-old who has been in Belgium for a couple of seasons.
We have been linked with this player earlier in the summer, and if Newcastle are genuinely interested in getting him signed this summer, we could see the Ghanaian International Christian Atsu leave Newcastle.
Other reports are that Huddersfield have switched their attention from Limbombe to the Newcastle winger.

Limbombe will not be a cheap signing, and even £11M could be out of the reach of Newcastle, but of course, if we can sell Atsu to Huddersfield that would help with the financials of the deal.
Limbombe is a left-sided midfielder who can play on either wing, and he has blistering pace – which is likely one reason Rafa is interested in him.
The Belgium League has already started up, but Limbombe has not played in the two games, and that could be because Club Brugge think he could be leaving the club shortly.
So it’s possible that Newcastle could have Anthony Limbombe in place of Christian Atsu before the window closes a week on Thursday.
It also seems clear that there are still some deals Rafa wants to complete in the next 9 days to further strengthen the Newcastle squad.
Limbombe has one full cap for Belgium which he earned in Belgium’s 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia in March, and he has played for some of the country’s Youth sides.
