Rafa Beneitez Goes After £7M Rated French Left-Back

Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie is reporting that Rafa Benitez would like to sign 19-year-old Stanley N’Soki, who is at PSG and played once for the first team there.

He has played for all the French Youth sides through the U20 level and made his Ligue 1 debut in December last year against Caen.

It appears that Newcastle may be going after younger players to give some depth to the squad – maybe because they will be cheaper and can be developed for the future.

Keith Downie is saying the highly rated 20-year-old is worth around £7M which is maybe what appeals to the Newcastle hierarchy.

Here’s Keith’s tweet.

N’Soki was born in France and is of Congolese descent, and he has come through the Youth Academy at PSG.

Downie has no idea where we stand in getting the French youngster to Newcastle and joins Rafa Benitez who said last night he has no idea if any signings are even close.

We had assumed Lee Charnley is keeping him up to date with what he’s going with the transfers – but maybe not.

Getting some young players in this summer is positive – as long as we have enough experience in the side.

Signing these talented teenagers is better than doing nothing.

Comments welcome.

You could look at a signing like this and think, building for the future.

Then you have Rafas comments last night.

Does anyone have a clue what’s going on?

It looks like no one is talking to Rafa, it’s pointless Charnley talking to anyone and Ashley couldn’t give a Fu(k…

How do we even get a transfer done?

    It’s unbelievable, it’s a circus.

    Ashley the ringmaster.
    Charnley the clown
    Rafa the Lion tamer

Current transfer rumours sound like Family Guy’s take on Star Wars dialogue.

    Something something something DARK SIDE.

Something something (nothing nothing) something something YOUNG FRENCH PLAYER.

Well, happy to be linked with players who (apparently) have potential. Not going to help much next season, mind, but still… Though it all seems hard to believe/imagine if Rafa has no clue himself what’s going on.

Buy ‘em young. Sell ‘em on on for profit. Or do nothing at all. Wagons keep rollin’…

There’s nothing wrong with buying FOR THE FUTURE PLAYERS but if money is scarce buy our top priority first which is a striker, we have penny pinched at Newcastle but we’ve also wasted millions too.

We all think G2 lives in Canada, but after today I think he is still in Newcastle. Just been for an interview for a company on the Quayside, the building houses quite a few businesses, one is Honey Badger Uk, obviously G2’s Business and still here in Newcastle

    March 31st birthday ?
Another day later and you would have been in real trouble !
Have a fun time on holiday and don’t worry it’ll all be sorted by the time you get back.
In Rafa we trust, others less so.

There was a time when some players were accused of using NUFC as a stepping stone to further themselves. However now it seems to be the other way around when they improve they are sold for healthy profit. Why can’t we get owners that understand what football means to us Geordies. It’s part of our lives, Majority of us were brought up on football. There has got to be someone out there who can fit the bill.
