Newcastle Side Announced For Augsburg Test – Gayle, Dubravka Missing

Karl Darlow and Joselu are starting the game this afternoon against Bundesliga side FC Augsburg at St. James’ Park.

Darlow replaces Martin Dubravka, who is not included in today’s squad – and we hope he hasn’t picked up an injury.

Clark and Lascelles are in central defense and Jonjo Shelvey is on the bench with Diame and Hayden starting in central midfield.

Dwight Gayle is not in the squad and could be on his way to West Brom in a loan swap for Salmon Rondon.

Dwight Gayle – not in the squad

Matt Ritchie and Christian Atsu are the two wingers.

I really don’t understand why Rafa doesn’t change formation so neither of Gayle nor Joselu need to figure in the starting lineup…

Play Perez on top and try some of the players that will make a difference this season…

    gayle left out for nufc

    rondon left out for wba

something going on if so they need to get their fingers out and get a move on 5 days left … till transfer window shuts… i’d put a sneeky bid in for gibbs at the same time

This is the same/similar team that won a league then finished 10th best in the country, granted massive improvement is needed, but dont panic too much fellas i hope things will be okay.

Its just so frustrating 3 quality signings away from top 7/8 in the league i think we will finish about 12th this year with muto having a good season wouldnt like to say who top scorer will be dont even know who our goal scorer will be yet
