Younger Players To Go On Loan To Get First Team Experience

As part of the remainder of this transfer window, some players from Newcastle will be allowed to go out on loan.

We have a number of the younger players who really need first-team playing time next season.

One of those players is right back Jamie Sterry who was on loan this year to Crewe Alexandra but with the Yedlin injury, there was some doubt about that.

However, Newcastle have just announced the American’s knee injury is not serious and he will return to training shortly.

Victor Fernandez – likely to go out on loan

Center-back Josef Yarneyo joined Morecambe last week, so he should get playing time in League Two this season.

England U-21 International goalkeeper Freddie Woodman desperately needs to go out on a full season loan to get first-team experience.

He’s one youngster who has a decent chance to come through to challenge for a first-team starting position in the future.

Other U-23 players who will likely go out on loan are Callum Roberts, Victor Fernandez, and Dan Barlaser – and all three seem to have Football League clubs already interested in them.

The first two were with the first team squad in preseason training and played in the friendly games – and both did well.

What do you think?

Comments welcome.

I don’t doubt any of jibs claims.
Although I have to say if they are all true he must be about 137 years old.

Someone mentioned earlier Arma’s two goals for Blackburn, just want to add some additional info to that comment.

Bradley Dack scored another two and provided two assists and could probably have been bought for around 10m.

Him and Wee Adam could have been banging them in for us.

    Just a thought!

As I said before – there are some weird
f@ckers on the web – Jail and Mr Tuff
must feel really threatened by yours truly
It’s hard to know why – just a childish
    frustration at being constantly shown
    up as stupid ?
Jealousy cos they’ve done f@ck all with
their lives – been nowhere – done nothing.
    Who knows ?
    Who cares ?
In a weird way it’s kind of flattering.

    Here’s another one for you
The young S African Tyrique Bartlett

He’s turned into a big powerful young man
If he’s anything like his dad Sean he could
    be a canny striker.

I just noticed (it’s probably been mentioned already) we’ve only announced a squad of 24 for this season and that includes Freddie Woodman who is likely to go out on loan. That leaves a likely squad of 23 first team players against a maximum of 25.

That obviously leaves room for unsigned / out of contract players – I wonder if we are negotiating with any or if Rafa is just leaving a little air in the system for emergency cover for injuries?

bill – earlier post re silence being the best reaction to abuse etc.
I would concur in a real life/face to face situations – after receiving something distasteful – looking em in the eye and saying nothing might be a useful tool.
However, do you not think that on blogs and social media platforms that the silent treatment really has no/or little effect.
The evolution of social media might by it’s very nature feed other types of responses.

Some are saying there is no excuse for what Peter Beardsley said.
    Not age not anything.
Fine, but what did he say.
Sorry, if I have missed it, but what did he say.

The attention Jib gets is most certainly not bullying.

Does it not occur to you that he brings it all on himself with his arrogant, offensive comments that include foul and abusive language as retaliation when his fantasies questioned.

Jib’s,a classic narcissist much like Trump whose vanity, lies, aggression and ignorance combined with his frequent use of coarse language limits any credibility he may seek.

Cries of witch hunt, fake news, conspiracy? Trump or Jib?

Peter Beardsley does not have a racist bone in his body ..when a football coach cracks a light hearted joke hes hauled over the coals.

A little sweaty group of players who know they are never going to make the first team get their heads together and report whatever was said , or whatever they say they heard was said… In the full knowledge that it’s going to get the coach into a lot of trouble, is underhanded and shows they seem to have an agenda despite the comment , light hearted, and not meant to be racist in any any way, and only in the general direction or area of 2 peoples earshot,, and not aimed at them at all , and certainly not the group that joined in with the Agenda mooted by one.

Peter Beardsley has supported ethnic minority poor and impoverished communitys, and not just in this country , for many years ..he has give a lot in many ways .

Most comments against him on here don’t know Peter.

Not one racist bone in his body ..ask Andy Cole …or any other black player who has worked with him .

Trouble is, these days, you only have to say something, however innocently meant, that can ALSO be construed as racist, and it is automatically taken in the racist way. Especially if you are in the public eye.

If a famous person jokingly called my son (we are a white family) a “cheeky little monkey” then no problem. The same person says it to a black child, then boom. Carnage.

By the Bloody way …just shows the ignorance on here at times of people not knowing anything about the person they are commenting on …

Peter Beardsley is by far the brightest most intelligent person you will find at Newcastle United ..ask any player ..he organises for them all …he’s also a good mathematician… If he had not been a World class footballer he would have attained a very high level in the academic world.

There might be one or two of you reading this that already know how quick he is . And not just his feet. !

Done well considering the streets he was raised in.

He’s a first class Bloke and a true Legend.

Never call him a racist ..he’s definitly not ..it’s an easy horrible word to throw at someone and it leaves the person effected by it with a long fight to clear their name.

It can be used against Someone wrongly . It happens.
