There are two more International breaks before we get to late November and December when there will be a bunch of games through January 1st.
Newcastle’s next eight games take us through to the game at Burnley on Monday night 26 November following the second International break.
The other starts before then and after we play at Manchester United on Saturday 6th October.
It will be interesting to see how many of these games we can win.
Rafa Benitez – another difficult task this season
Wins and all 3 points will be important to Newcastle if we are to move quickly away from the relegation zone, which is what we’re hoping for – long before the end of this year.
Here are the upcoming eight fixtures through November.
Date Fixture KO time
Sat 22 Sep Crystal Palace vs Newcastle 3:00pm
Sat 29 Sep Newcastle vs Leicester 3:00pm
Sat 06 Oct Man United vs Newcastle 5:30pm
Sat 20 Oct Newcastle vs Brighton 3:00pm
Sat 27 Oct Southampton vs Newcastle 3:00pm
Sat 03 Nov Newcastle vs Watford 3:00pm
Sat 10 Nov Newcastle vs Bournemouth 3:00pm
Mon 26 Nov Burnley vs Newcastle 8:00pm
There will also be 8 Premier League games from 1st December through 1st January for Newcastle – as many as we play from now through the end of November.
Let’s hope everybody will be fit for the December games – apart from Florian Lejeune, who could be back in January.
How many points do you think we can get from the eight games above?

Comments welcome.

Silly question time
Ritchie, Why is he subbed all the time and not Perez? I see on here and on other sites that he features very high on the MOM board, Ritchie along with Yedlin are our threat.
so what is it we all see that Rafa cannot?
Why has Rafa left us with really only one type of CF, a target man type, both Rondon and Joselu dont have pace, and for what ever reason, Rondon is 2nd best, it seems like Joselu is his preferred CF. does that not worry anyone?
Why are our summer signings taking so long to get game time?
last thing,, Wolves,, wow,, they actually play football, how is it possible, Nuno Espirito Santo has not won the champions league.. I bet he is on half of what Rafa is on

Look like a top team. They are composed and pass the ball well. And have some very skillfull players. They are very attack minded. Pleasure to watch.

Comment #15Just a thought on ritchie sub….maybe its because he is so important to the next game that taking him off before he does himself an injury myt be why he gets withdrawn….he has only just been injured and he may of been carrying it thru the beginning of the season…but could be that he he gets wound up and he get the hook before he blows a fuse….tbh could be anything!lol…i would like see ritchie moved in field behind the striker and perez either off or moved up to striker for a spell towards the end of a game…just to see if it makes a difference….doubt hat will happen tho.

Comment #19In rafa’s time with us can anyone point to what identity the team has, I’m just curious go know.
we can’t seem to pass the ball around like most teams
Get nosebleeds when we attack
Can’t defend properly yet stick to that
The only guarantee is rafa will make like for like changes on or after 70mins with no intention to change tactics, just personnel.
I don’t get the lovefest, i see plenty of faults, in 3 / 4 seasons we can’t even pass the ball forward, we have no clue how to create chances

Comment #20Rafa assembled his squad from the bargain bin
We made a profit on players again
Why do you suppose teams spend money on players ?
Your ignoring the problem and creating a scape goat

Comment #21Can you explain why teams spend hundreds of millions on players ?
Is it because they just love spending money ?

Comment #22Rafa’s tactics are don’t get into a winning position, but defend a 0-0 and hope the other team scores first.

Comment #24Our whole squad cost about as much as Marhez
Do you think Rafa didn’t want to spend the money we made from Mitro ?
Why do top teams spend so much on players ?
It’s all a total mystery
