Wales manager Ryan Giggs has said that Chris Gunter will start the UEFA Nations League group game against Albania in Elbasan on Tuesday.
Gunter is the player who came on to replace Newcastle’s Paul Dummett after 38 minutes in the game yesterday when Wales lost 2-1 at home to Denmark.
Former Newcastle striker target Nicolai Jorgensen scored the first goal after 42 minutes for Denmark, shortly after Paul had left the game.

Former Manchester United star Ryan Griggs said this when asked about the injury situation in his squad:
“We had a couple of injuries.” “You would have thought they won’t make it for Tuesday.”
“We will have to see how the lads are in the next couple of days.” “If they are injured they won’t be traveling.”
“Chris Gunter will start the game on Tuesday.”
So those comments infer that Paul will not be traveling to Albania if Gunter is starting the game.
And presumably, the left-back will now return to Newcastle to start treatment on the injury.
But we still don’t know how serious the injury is and what exactly it is.
There are various p[layer who can play at left back if Paul is unavailable for the game at Burnley on Monday 26 November.
Kenedy came in for one game when Paul had a hamstring problem earlier this season and did quite well.
Javier Manquillo, Ciaran Clark and Achraf Lazaar can also play in that position.
There are lots of games coming up in December, so Rafa is unlikely to risk Paul if he is not 100% fit for the Burnley game.
Comments welcome.
