Talks To Sell Newcastle At A More Advanced Stage Than Ever Before

For Mike Ashley to come out and reveal he hopes to sell the club this year is strange.

That’s only four weeks, so we have to think that a buyer has been negotiating with him for a while.

But as we’ve said before takeovers can happen quickly when the buyer is really serious.

And since Ashley wants to sell the club this month and before the transfer window, you have to think the new buyers will go all out to get Rafa’s targets in next month and are willing to pay out the money to get them.

Mike Ashley – must be negotiating with a specific buyer

Here’s a tweet from Sky Sports Keith Downie:

How Will Newcastle Fare At Everton?

This is the best news that I’ve heard………… before 🙁

Then zero investment in January from Fat Mike yet again. Only the dark web can help us now.

The sale is like any signing, worth talking about and it’s potential positives but it’s not worth building your hopes up.

A good shout jib but if we (me and my brother) do go to St james’ then it’s going to be to a premier league game. Or if we make it far into the fa Cup then a quarter final (wishful thinking) sounds good.

How far in advance should we purchase tickets for a home game in the Premier league? I assume they’re hard to get.

There will be a full version of the takeover story appearing on @TeleFootball shortly but information is it is genuine. Problem is, there might be three interested parties and one – the wealthy individual – is shocked Ashley has spoken tonight

Hard to get excited about any takeover rumours as been here before but would still rather hear of rumours than total silence on the matter. Will happen one day eventually. Is this the one? Fingers crossed.

Digging a little deeper a lot of ITK Twitter accounts are pointing towards Atalanta United FC owner Arthur Blank could be one of the main investers. (Worth 4.6 billion)

Good reporting from The Mag and some quality banners from the lads down In London……there’s no hiding place for Mike now. We seek him here ….we seek him there

I’m hopeful that there might be a Currizza ( they exist – curry + pizza) party soon. That would be like seeing smoke coming out of the Vatican’s chimney………..

Is that Ashley throwing a spanner in the works lol.

A wealthy individual, maybe the other 2 are the Americans..

Who’s got the coin to buy a club outright and would be miffed about Ashley gobbing off?

Atalanta, Atlanta, Lost City of Alantis – don’t care where he lives as long as he helps buy the club and Ashley is consigned to the history books

    Arthur Blank ?
Hope he has a decent cheque book in his name

More likely no sale before January and no proper funds then either, but a sale would look very much to be on should we stay up. I largely believe Ashley when he says he only wants to sell to a buyer who can take the club forward, but feel more certain he will wait for his own valuation or very near to be offered before it’ll happen. Fingers crossed as always. Certainly well past time, he gave someone else a go.

    Evening lads
Personally I am going along for the ride lads and if anything positive comes of it celebrate then. I was hoping the Saudi royal family link had some truth behind it with money to burn as well as reporters to murder lol. Is the guy from Atlanta rich enough to take us to the next level I don’t know but cannot be any worse than the last decade surely not

    Nobody believes the selling lie
He’s been selling us for a decade
He will use any interested parties to further his lie till just after the Jan window closes
    Same as last year etc

    From the Wiki thingy

Blank has expressed serious interest in purchasing other franchises. In early 2006, he temporarily withdrew from contention as a potential buyer of the Atlanta Braves of Major League Baseball. Some months later, Blank re-entered serious talks with Time Warner and a report indicated that a sale was imminent.[8] However, in February 2007, the Braves completed the sale of the team to Liberty Media. Blank has also founded an expansion Major League Soccer franchise named Atlanta United FC that began play in 2017.[9] The club shares Mercedes-Benz Stadium with the Falcons.

So Ashley will not be spending any money in January! I can just imagine the headlines in February. “negotiations have broken down; they couldn’t raise the funds; wasting our time!”
    Please not again!

More advanced than ever before? That shouldn’t be hard.
I’m no psychologist or even a decent poker player but excessive blinking and a stutter in someone who isn’t afflicted is textbook ‘pants on fire’ behaviour, isn’t it? And all this from the man who said he required prospective buyers to keep schtum!
Action, not words are needed from Mashley and also from all NUFC fans – starting with a boycott of Wolves on Saturday. NO LETTING UP. Howaythelads!
