Newcastle Must Now Go All Out To Sign This Star Player In Early January

There’s good news today that the Chronicle are reporting that sources tell them four bids have been received for the club and they are all about 300M – the price Ashley wants for the club.

If that is true, it’s good news, but we don’t blame fans one little bit if they are still skeptical until the deal is actually done – if that’s to happen.

But it’s looking more likely that Mike Ashley could be out of Newcastle before the end of January.

That’s why it’s crucial Newcastle go all out in early January to try to get some of Rafa’s transfer targets through the door.

Miguel Almiron – let’s hope we can sign him in early January

The top target seems to be Atlanta United playmaker Miguel Almiron.

It’s possible in the MLS to find out what each individual player receives in wages.

It looks like Almiron gets £1,502,709 yearly which could rise to about £1,804,822 with bonuses, according to the Chronicle.

So Almiron could expect that wage to increase by at least 50% if he signs on at Newcastle – maybe even double?

He’s getting close to £30K/week and that rise to say  £45K/week or more at Newcastle with bonuses included.

What could also help Newcastle sign Almiron in January is the recent news that Newcastle have received four bids.

And if the club is sold, it’s almost certain that Mr. Rafa Benitez will sign a new long-term deal to stay at Newcastle.

Rafa will deserve every penny he gets for guiding the club so well in the last 30 months or so.

Almiron’s shirt is also the fifth most popular player based on the sale of player shirts – he is one of the best players in the league.

The season will be over after the MLS Championship game between Atlanta and Portland this Saturday, and there’s no reason Newcastle cannot agree a deal soon, and have it made official on January 1st.

Head of Recruitment Steve Nickson will travel to Atlanta this week to begin negotiations for the player with Atlanta officials and his agent.

Let’s hope we can get Almiron to Newcastle by early January.

It would be nice to have a signing announced very soon and before the end of the month.

We are supposed to believe Ashley announced his latest sale plan without telling his PR advisors? If that’s the case that PR firm are indemnified against bad PR decisions. As Toon22 says a lot but it is still true, you don’t own a PR company and not use it, moreover, you don’t hand over fees to them unconditionally because you excused them contractually from liability by going loose cannon on their watch. Nope this has PR moves all over it, for whatever reason.

I think Charnley should be kept on by the new owners……..he’s the only one who can unravel Mikeys’s web of deceit 😀

would Ashley want Charnley’s kept on,
i would think its in Ashley’s interests to get him as far away from the club as possible,
as you say he will/should know were all the skeletons are buried,LOL

Ashleysmate, its not cancelled yet, True Faith have just decided they are not going through with their personal decision to boycott, the Magpie Group have not said anything about it yet and True Faith have not informed them of it, hopefully the magpie group decide to cancel it, until we are in a safer position

FTI has $731bn worth of assets under their management. 2017’s operating income was $2bn, these are no micky mouse outfit.

Micky Dubai i was about to post that blackcloud tweet before you, for what its worth, he has been wrong before but it feels different this time.

My hunch is that its a done deal or very close to being one and our 11 year nightmare is very close to ending.

Although I’m reliably informed by toon22 that Charnley’s paltry salary is subsidized by a hefty number of brown envelopes passed under the table…… he has to moonlight on this blog on an evening….. 🙂

fog – think you are right -everything more or less sorted just a few odds and ends to tie up.
Difference this time around is Mr Tubbs speaking publicly about it.

Hope it is a total cutting of anything to do with Mr Tubbs.

There again Mr Tubbs is not beyond pulling a fast one.

Hate to see the blog become bland and passive just cos we might start to be successful. 🙂

The bickering on the Mag’s comments section
makes this blog look like a knitting circle.
They are still jumping up and down to boycott
the Wolves game as if it is the only and last opportunity
    to demonstrate the fans ire.

If this buyout story is true we need the points
If it’s a load of PR toffee the backlash against
Ashley will be something to behold

Continuing on from last night another place to visit near Carccasone if you like walking is Mount Bugarach. Sometimes known the Mystery Mountain there is allegedly a lot of UFO activity in the area and there is a vast underground system of cave which Jules Verne may have based his Journey to the Centre of the Earth upon.

Try Googling Mt. Bugarach, a lot of interesting stuff there.

There’s Renne Les Baines (spelling might be wrong) as well.

I imagine I’m not alone in this but I’m extremely sceptical when it comes to this takeover talk. I (foolishly) built my hopes up this time last season & it obviously didn’t pan out.

The Twitter account @Blackcloud1603 was talking about a takeover weeks ago. Way before anywhere else. I’ve no idea who it is but it’s worth a follow.
