The Mirror are reporting that Everton are now monitoring Porto midfielder, Yacine Brahimi.
Brahimi is out of contract in the summer and Newcastle have been linked with the player many times in the past.
He is out of contract in June and Porto could try to sell him in January, so they get a transfer fee of him before he becomes a free agent.
Newcastle were reported at the game on Monday night to watch the Algerian International in action during Porto’s 3-1 victory over Nacional on Monday night.
28-year-old Porto winger Yacine Brahimi
Aaron Stokes is a sports journalist for the Star, and he has tweeted that Newcastle are still interested in the Porto winger.
#NUFC scouts were in attendance to watch Porto star Yacine Brahimi last night. The winger scored twice in a 3-1 win against Nacional. Everton, Southampton, Norwich and a number of European clubs also sent scouts to watch the player.

Brahimi scored twice during the game, and he would have impressed several club scouts at the game.
He moved to Porto in the summer of 2014 from Granada, and he was born in Paris and played for all the French youth sides through the U21 level (8 appearances – one goal).
He is of Algerian descent and has played 39 times for the Algerian National side with 11 goals.
Brahimi plays as an attacking midfielder and a winger and is a technically gifted player.
Since he’s been at Porto, he’s played 191 times with 48 goals and 40 assists.
Newcastle have been interested in the 28-year-old since 2012 according to our records, and we were also linked with him last January.
It seems like £5M could get him this month if he would agree to join Newcastle.
And it was a pity the Newcastle U21 team were beaten 4-0 at Sunderland last night in the Checkatrade trophy with the score 0-0 at half time.
4-0 was a harsh scoreline for the youngsters, but they have done really well this season to reach the last 16 of the competition.
