Pundit Predicts Chelsea vs Newcastle Result

Paul Merson points out in his Sky Sports predictions today that Newcastle are in relegation trouble.

We had noticed that.

We somehow need to keep picking up points (wins preferred), but Newcastle have some tough fixtures coming up including a match at Stamford Bridge tomorrow afternoon in the late kickoff game.

We have a chance to get something out of this game if our defense plays well and doesn’t have any mental lapses.

But that will be difficult.

Paul’s right when he says the Blues are not as dominant as they were at the beginning of the season – so there’s a chance for us.

Paul Merson – takes Chelsea to get a close win

Here’s what he has said about the game:

“Newcastle are right in the relegation mix.”

“They rely on Salomon Rondon too much and they are struggling. I’ve watched Chelsea enough times this season and they are not ripping teams apart like they did at the start of the season.”

“At times they don’t really look like scoring a goal. Chelsea need to score early in the first quarter of the game to avoid a difficult afternoon.”

“I think they will, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this ended goalless.

Prediction: 1-0

We’d definitely take a point tomorrow, but wins are really what we need to avoid relegation this season.

Oldgit1 that defiantly wasn’t me having ago at you, apologizes if you felt that,

i think people much higher up the food chain are well aware of ashLIE’s reputation and will be very cautious about entering into any partnership deals with him,
for me it has to be a complete brake deal or there wont be a deal

Rafa: “I will not talk about the transfer window, I will not talk about names & I will not talk about the takeover. We are wasting energy on these things”.

If Nufc was a dog the Rspca would have taken it off Ashley and had him banned from keeping animals.

    Sheer neglect

If NUFC was a whale, Ashley’d have the Rainbow Warrior chasing him round all over the shop.
