Paul Merson Predicts Newcastle vs Huddersfield Result

Huddersfield have not won a game since November but nothing is certain in football, and the Terriers visit St. James’ Park Saturday afternoon.

It’s a massive game for both clubs, and if Newcastle fail to win this game, it will be more points dropped by the Magpies and keep us locked in a relegation scrap.

And in no way will this be an easy game for Newcastle with our failure to take chances still our Achilles Heel.

Paul Merson also thinks we will win this game – so not sure if that’s good news or bad news from Paul.

Paul Merson – thinks we can win this game

This is what Paul has said about this game to Sky Sports:

“This is a must-win game for Newcastle.”

“They have turned a bit of a corner recently but they have been playing games where they haven’t been expected to win and they have got results.”

“Now they have to turn up and win the game, which is a lot harder sometimes.”

When you are not expected to win, you can try and grind out a draw, but this could be a dangerous game for Newcastle.”

“But with the run that Huddersfield have been on, I think Newcastle will win.”

Prediction: 2-0 (we’ll take it!)

Those are good points this week from Paul Merson.

We would definitely take a 2-0 win on Saturday and be very relieved about it.

Over 80% of fans think we will win this game.

Let’s hope they are right!

    Genkaii,
It’s a rock and a hard place, I obviously want to stay up this season as there is an outside chance that Mashers might give in and keep Rafa happy but I honestly can’t see the point in this same shit season after season while he lines his pockets. He isn’t going to sell while SKY are paying him all this dough, five years in the Champo with nobody buying foot all merchandise catering etc will hurt him more than us.

Before anyone says the catering is subbed out, they won’t be renewing any contracts if nobody is buying.
