Alan Shearer Lauds Newcastle’s Great Win – We’re United In Black And White

Ayoze Pere scored with a glancing header after 32 minutes to score the winner for Newcastle who kept their first clean sheet for six games and our first win in four games.

Newcastle are now on 38 points and – especially if Cardiff don’t win tomorrow at Burnley – we have a good chance to avoid relegation.

A very good chance.

The win ended Leicester’s winning streak of four games in a row and it was our first away win since we took Huddersfield apart 1-0 on December 15th.

🙂

Ayoze Perez heads home after 33 minutes to win the game for the Magpies

This is what Alan tweeted after the game:

Who Was Newcastle's Man Of The Match At Leicester?

Home games against beatable opponents are our Achilles heel
We perform well in Away games or against attacking sides like city because we play well on the break
Perez is worth at least 35 million

We could have a great end to the season
Rafa saying to Carragher and Neville that
now is not the time to talk to the media
    about the future

A strong thought tonight for sean longstaff who i personally believe was instrumental in our bid for survival as that link who had everyone clicking together.

If that idiot owner doesn’t keep Rafa, which includes paying what he has to to keep Rondon, the place will explode (much he cares) Bring on new owners!

I thought Rafa was quite open there, gave more than normal….just mind.

Great to hear presenters mention the fans, we are different/unique.

    Jiblets,
Lets not forget you fought Carvers’s corner and it was Mike Ashleys decision not to do well in the cups, so although the lick spittle ‘chose’ the team”, it was not idea to exit the cup!!!

I reckon Perez would be a superstar if he played for Barca or Real Madrid, rather he stayed with us though.

And Almiron has to get a goal soon, surely!

Break out the kippers now for a late night BBQ celebration.
You can buy fresh for when Ashley sells or is impeached or deported to Dubai.

The liverpool match will be difficult, we know that.

    But the others….

We can get more points now, tonight’s game I did not expect a win if I am honest.

    Saints, Brighton, Pool then Fulham.

Playing with freedom I hope for at least 12 points now 🙂 🙂

Real shame for us if we lose Hayden. Just purrs around the middle of the park with real athleticism. He has 10 fine EPL seasons ahead of him. Ki and Hayden are super economical in their movement. They are very good in there for us. Very tight and tidy. Throw in Longstaff and Shelvey and we are very well served provided we strengthen elsewhere, but alas it does look as if he’s going.

NUFC fan : Surely you must now give Rafa what he requires?
MA: I know how to run a business successfully (which, as you can see tonight, I’m doing)
Fan : But surely Rafa knows more about football than you, and he wants Rondon
MA: You can’t make any profit buying a guy of his age at that price
Fan: So, who knows more about football, you or Rafa?
MA Who’s got the money, me or Rafa? How d’you think I got all this money? Who’s in charge? Have you got a few hundred million quid by any chance?
Fan: I’m just pointing out there’s a difference running a football club to a retail outfit
MA I can’t see any difference. I own a EPL club which makes me money. How can that not be right?
    Fan Fair point, boss,F*** Off.
    MA I rest my case
And so, unhappily, on, until somebody pays him what he wants. I can’t understand why nobody has yet stepped in to buy us – we’re a gold mine.
