Delighted Newcastle Fans Have Their Say – Away Support Incredible

Newcastle fans took to Twitter following our great 1-0 win at Leicester City last night breaking their four-game winning streak under new manager Brendan Rodgers.

It was another masterclass from Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez who was interviewed on the touchline after the game by Sky Sports’ pundit and Rafa’s former player  Jamie Carragher – and others.

Rafa was in his element during the interview and it’s no wonder he and Newcastle are in demand on TV.

Rafa can talk about football for hours and hours much like Sir Bobby Robson and we hear an experienced manager who knows what he’s talking about and knows what it takes to win in football.

He’s very much like Sir Bobby.

Here are some tweets from Newcastle fans and some videos of the Newcastle fans last night at the away end of the King Power Stadium.

Can I just clarify my earlier comment
“Also loved the way Rafa moved in for a kiss with Kelly at end of the interview – the dirty dawg”
    was a JOKE – yes I know it’s a continental thing!

That goal is exactly where you want to see Perez in the middle of the goal waiting for a cross and then boom first time in the back of the net!!! You can’t teach that run its just pure instinct to score goals!

Just wish we could provide better service into the box like that every week!!

Yes, because a draw isn’t much use to Cardiff.

I’m not going to worry now what other teams do – I’m pretty sure we’re safe now especially as we’re likely to get at least another couple of points from our remaining games.

I see Ryan Fraser has said he wants to go to a top 6 club……

Maybe we should try poach King instead from them !! 🙂

So proud to be a Geordie last night. The boys fought hard and played well, but the away fans were legend! Well done to you all. You’re the envy of the EPL!!

The Falcons have 3 games to save their season
They look relegation fodder which would mean no
    game at SJP next season.

I thought Isaac Hayden was a bit of an unsung
hero yesterday – he was breaking LC’s play up
    tirelessly yesterday.
(I keep wanting to call him Isaac Hayes)

Knockaert is just doing the sensible thing and I don’t blame him. It’s not nice being in a football match inside Dummett’s pocket.

Perez now level with Obafemi and above Bellamy in our all time Premier League goalscorers. 2 more and he breaks in the top 10.

Feel sorry for Hughton but this has happened at a few of the teams he has managed hits a wall and then ends up getting sacked or the team relegated!

Cardiff Brighton will be an epic game next week!

    But…

Udders feeled are the only team in the entire division who have scored less!

Liverpool are in advanced discussions with Nike over a new long-term kit deal that, would be the league’s biggest ever. It is estimated that a 10-year deal may be worth up to £80m-a-year. Liverpool’s current deal with New Balance is worth £45m p.a. – will last until 2019/20.

Charnley and Ashley would have you believe that being successful on the field isn’t that profitable as well…….
