Magnificent Magpies Close Season With Dominant Performance

What a brilliant way to end the season as Newcastle have smashed Fulham at Craven Cottage 0-4.

Rafa Benitez– This man’s future is on everyone’s mind

Newcastle finish the season in 13th place on 45 points.  They manage one more point than last season but three places lower in the table.

The Magpies added to their first half lead with a towering header by one of our favorites, Fabian Schar.  He should change his first name to Alan after that.

Fulham had a goal taken away as Zambo Anguissa was called offside.  Though it looked like he was played onside by Isaac Hayden.  But it would have meant nothing as this side were determined to finish this season on a high

Newcastle saw out the game in professional fashion after that with Fulham only managing a few chances before Rondon scored into injury time to make it four.  What a wonderful player Rondon has been for Newcastle.  We must find a way to get him back next season.

Well done to Rafa and the lads. Now let’s keep this squad together, add some real quality, and bring this club back to where it belongs!

Landed back in UK after a very expensive 3 days visiting Mikeller beer festival in Copenhagen. Stuck £10 on toon 4-0 win while passing bookies and I think I just recuperated half my money! (I didn’t check the odds and they haven’t stuck it on the slip, I don’t do this often!) Hoping now that Rafa announces he’s staying and I’ll sleep like a baby tonight!

Fans applaud players and vice versa but great perspective.

Rafa, the team, the stadium, it’s all there ready to go to the next level.

Head on the block time and no I have not been told anything.

I think someone will buy us before the new season. It’s all there, just need to hope greedy man lowers his demands.

4-0 win away from home cant hurt showcasing our club.

    Well let’s hope

    Toon22 –

I know, i know, just let’s have some hope fella.

    Respect

ManUre had a Champions League spot open up for them about 8 matches ago with the bad form of the other teams outside of the top 2. And they failed miserably. I cannot stop laughing – would love to know what the wages are compared to ours.

What a mad season that was.

The craziest part is, if we didn’t perform so poorly (albeit we had an injury to rondon and schar was adapting) in the first 10 games we could have achieved around 7th.

What a brilliant manager rafa is, once again proving the few dummies on here wrong.

Fantastic season in the end. Now come on Ashley, don’t screw this summer up.

Well done Rafa & all the Lads. Brilliant way to finish the season – resounding win. And Liverpool have still not won the Premier League just like NUFC!
Now then Ashley – stop messing around with 12 month contracts unless you are really going to sell the club and give Rafa a proper “War Chest” so that he can really show you what he can do with our Club.
