Club Give Update On Local Midfielder

Newcastle United have tweeted about local lad Sean Longstaff’s progress from his knee injury suffered this past March. He was injured in the away fixture at West Ham.

The club has just tweeted this about Sean’s recovery.

It looks like Sean is recovering well from his injury and is on track to be back on at least light training when the squad report in early July.

The initial estimate for his injury lay off was four months and that would be the first week of July. So it appears that the initial reports were correct and that Sean is progressing as expected.

Sean Longstaff– when he injured himself at West Ham

It would be a bonus if Sean can get into the first preseason match against Wolves in the Premier League Asia Trophy on July 17th.

A full preseason would be excellent for the youngster. And judging from his recent comments he appears to be raring to get back on the pitch for Newcastle.

A few days ago the club tweeted this snippet from his full interview on NUFC TV.

Frog: I could care less what happens to Mike Ashley as long as it doesn’t affect NUFC. I do know how the world and politicians work though. In the scheme of things Ashley’s are minor discretions and he can easily buy his way out if he so chooses or needs to. Even if he has fallen foul of politicians in the past a few greased palms will work wonders.

I don’t know that much about the tax investigation but isn’t it partly about Agent fees and VAT. I bet just about every PL club will be caught up in that as well if they dig deep enough so I doubt anybody will want Ashley to go down.

Plus, hopefully we will be sold and can put this behind us. It maybe even beneficial to Fatty and push the sale along so he can move on.

Been a few years since i posted on here, i’ve been told that regardless of seans comments manu have already tapped him up and offered him and his parents a package they can’t refuse and it has turned there heads. Really hope.is does not happen. A lot is resting on rafa staying as he is in constant contact via text with sean!

One more bit of info on haydon. I always thought the reason he had to go back to london was due to his child being sick. The real reason is his current partner actually has a child from another relationship has the father.of that child went through family courts for.custody and haydons partner is not allowed to move her child out of a certain radious for residence. Hence why she cant move to newcastle and Haydon is desperate to move as it is effecting his relationship.

@Toon22 I do hope you are correct about HMRC and MA, but as you like to say his defence will be it’s never his fault!

But we always dream can’t we.
