Report – Top Target To Begin Negotiations With Newly Linked Club

There is a report in Fotomac that one of Newcastle’s top transfer targets over the past year is now linked to Turkish club Besiktas.

Nikola Vlasic’s name has been doing the rounds since it was reported that he wanted a permanent move away from Goodison Park.

The latest report from Fotomac claims that the Turkish club is looking for a replacement for loanee Shinji Kagawa.

The report says that they are about to begin negotiations with Everton over the player. However, they appear to only willing to sanction a loan deal for the Croatian.

This is a common theme in regards to Vlasic as it was reported on Friday that Italian clubs Roma, Napoli, and Lazio were only interested in loan deals for the 21-year old.

Nikola Vlasic– could he be joining Besiktas?

However, Newcastle’s link with Vlasic still appears to be the strongest. As we reportedly want the attacking midfielder permanently and not on loan.

With our club stuck on a razor’s edge at the moment between glory and disaster, we run the risk of losing out on our top targets.

We hope the club can get their future sorted out and quickly. If not for the club’s sake then for the sake of our hyper-anxious fans.

As far as I am aware there are no regular flights into Southend from the Middle or Far East although a private jet could fly in!

Big rumours about Rafa meeting with Chelsea about returning there. Maybe yesterday he was here to clear his desk and say goodbye.

I highly doubt Rafa would go back to Chelsea!!! The fans didn’t like him at all

50 Years ago on this day we won the Inter Cities Fairs Cup.

    Our last major trophy.

Thank you all of the top management, especially the present shower, for this dismal lack of success since that day.

A record to be truly ashamed of!

NB With apologies to certain team managers involved during this sad period.

Just found my first ever post,

    August 26th, 2009.

    The article,

New Bid Backed By Multi-Billion Dollar New York Company

    Eds final paragraph,

“We have to hope this deal goes through but there’s been so many false dawns this summer, we’ll believe it – if and when it happens.

    Please be true!”

Look how far we have come!!

I really hope Rafa doesn’t end up back at Chelsea, terrible setting for him to go into. I’m hopeful that he will stay regardless of the takeover situation.

So, if we believe the papers, Mourinho will come here where he’s hated and have the opportunity to bring in loads of new players.

In the meantime, Rafa will go to Chelsea where he’s hated and not be able to sign any players because of their transfer ban.

Have we slipped into some kind of crazy alternate dimension here?

Or is it just a load of old bull?

    Robleenio,
I don’t want him here but if he did turn up I don’t think people would give him the same reception the Chelsea fans gave Rafa.

Direct messages (DMs) let you send your contacts private notes through Twitter. Just like regular tweets and @replies, direct messages are limited to 140 characters. Unlike regular tweets and @replies, the only person who can see a direct message is the recipient.

I don’t think Mourhino would be hated, he’d certainly be resented though.

Jail, agreed – I was slightly over-egging the pudding. However, if results didn’t follow, I think the average NUFC fan’s mind would quickly start saying ‘Rafa would have done better, given the same circumstances’

He’d be on a hiding to nothing, essentially.

No chance of Rafa at Chelsea. I reckon lampard is getting that one but Chelsea supporters hated Rafa because of Liverpool, all the better for us though.

rich@12 and jib @16….there could be other reasons why rafa should go to training ground to see charnley …depends on whether there are more visits this week by rafa….couldve been to see latest negotiations with cashley on paper…next two weeks will tell when season tickets go up for sale
