Tim Krul, as only Tim can, has given a bit of a nudge to Newcastle fans on Twitter.
Tim has tweeted about fixture release day and made mention of Norwich’s first two games this coming season.
Amazing fixtures to start the season .. Easy 6 points .. champions league winners and the mad geordies ??????. #excited #cantwait #FixtureReleaseDay
— Tim Krul (@TimKrul) June 13, 2019
Norwich play away at Anfield and home against Newcastle in their first two fixtures.
Tim, who can be a bit of a character, is obviously having fun with both Newcastle and Liverpool fans.
We are very happy to see Tim back in the Premier League and hopefully, he will be playing regularly for Norwich city after making 46 appearances for them last season.
We certainly are big fans of Wor Tim on this blog.

Comment #1Blimey, Neil and Ed have the bus rattling along today!
😀
Will be great to see Tim Krul back at SJP. Great servant, one of our top 5 keepers of recent years. I’m sure he’ll get a good reception from the fans.

I still have that Pav top.
We’ve had some dazzlers over the years and as a goalkeeper myself I used to buy them when I was younger and didn’t mind putting money into the club shop.

Comment #4Imagine if our transfers moved at the speed of Ed and Neil’s bus?
Or if anybody at the club was even 5% as capable of giving us information?
Just contemplating that leaves me needing a lie down.

I’ll get back to you tonight with my thoughts on VAR, I’m all for it tbh and have been asking for some form of video refereeing for a long time now.

I’ve seen much more people say they would like some form of statement from Ashley or ”the club” as towards our situation than have supported the wall of silence, that’s why I was surprised to see so many people agree with Bills son is back on that Ashley is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t make a statement.

Comment #8It would be very easy to issue a statement saying that there is talks in place and that Rafa is aware of the situation and a decision will hopefully be made soon. I’m not sure how he can be condemned for issuing such a statement, it would let us know that the club acknowledge that there is something going on and that the manager is fully aware and understands the situation going forward in to the next season.

Comment #9On shirts, whenever I wear that canary yellow one you can spot me in a crowd the size of a Hong Kong demonstration.
I’d love to play football with players dressed in these. Easy to pick out.

Appreciate the VAR input, just when you get time.
I got the point Bills son was making but where our Tat shop Mussolini is concerned he should be damned.

Comment #14ToonRich – that’s one of my favourite keeper shirts, although I associate that blue version more with Pav, and the alternative purple version with Shaka. Shay’s Classic all green shirt holds a special place in my heart as the last keeper top I played in before I had to pack it in. Aging body was telling me it was time to quit! 🙂

Comment #17Droopy – on var I think it’s generally very much needed BUT as a few others have said it’s the way it’s interpreted by those using it. Will they want to overturn referees. How far back in the move will they go to disallow something. Will it still be able to favour the top teams.
In games we have already seen similar incidents where some are given and others not
My biggest concern is big teams surrounding referees to get reviews. Maybe it should be a bit like cricket where can only ask for so many reviews

Seems a bit odd that we always play away Boxing Day
Fixtures over Christmas period always against the top teams
Our first away fixture is one of the promoted teams – last three years
Our last home game against someone out of the top Four

On VAR
For
We should eliminate these shocking decisions
Against
Lots of goals being disallowed and defenders throwing themselves to the floor to attain a goal being chalked off.

Comment #30With VAR we should probably get Dwight Gayle back. Probably good for 3 or 4 penalties a season. That will be what interests me about VAR, to see if it evens out the penalties a bit. Obviously, the teams with more possession in the opponents half will get more but we hardly got any. I think it was like 4 in 2 years.
