Sky Sports Reporter Gives Newcastle Fans Some Rare Positive News

Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has tweeted out the following information which if true is excellent news for Newcastle fans.

This is very positive though Kaveh does state that Newcastle won’t confirm that talks took place. But we like the sound of “Newcastle categorically not interested in selling Longstaff”.

This is the exact stance that Newcastle should be taking on the young Geordie. Newcastle do not need to be a selling club anymore. The television revenue is more than enough to keep this club going while providing a healthy transfer budget year in and year out.

The problem is that Mike Ashley does not invest this money in the squad or facilities. This is why we are about to go from Rafa Benitez to Steve Bruce.

Sean Longstaff– needs to remain at the club

With Isaac Hayden likely to leave, allowing Longstaff to leave would further put the squad in peril. That is without even considering the emotional impact of allowing such a promising local lad to leave after only a stretch of games in a Newcastle shirt.

With the squad so drastically short in attacking areas as well as lacking quality at full-back, those will be the areas Newcastle will have to concentrate on this transfer window.

Depleting the midfield as well this close to the start of the season would be suicidal. Mike Ashley may not even be that reckless. Though we never thought he would let Rafa walk away either.

if your in the 10 year plan you can cancel your direct debit and cite the change in circumstances of what was sold to you. If you are renewing year on year you can immediately cancel as you haven’t yet received the goods.

These days I compare supporting toon to being kicked in the bollocks. Some days the foot kicking me in the bollocks has a steel toecap rigger type boot on and its a repeated kick that doesnt let up… similar to the last few weeks. Occasionally there will be a slight let up when the administrator needs a rest so tells his 7 year old daughter to administer the kicks but shes only wearing a fluffy unicorn slipper and doesnt have much power but you can still feel the kick just no where near the brutallity of her dad. These are the times when we win a few games during a season and everything seems more calm but its still in the back of our minds that Mashley will eventually ruin us again during another crap transfer window.

I will often wake up now and just hope to dear god this tackle kicking tag team have had enough and beggared off to ruin someone elses life or at the very least its just a few more days of the fluffy unicorn slipper before enoughs enough.

Too much monkey business. Just give us truthful facts Toxic Ash . We are all sick to death of the silence and when you do say something it’s all lies.
Your actions are just fuelling FAKE NEWS but I suppose that’s your smokescreen. Unfortunately the whole bloody thing is likely to catch fire very soon & the result will be a massive fire sale.

I have said it for a while now, we will never get any official statements about the takeover, we will all just have to come to our own conclusion that its dead and rely on hearsay from journalists as to what nappened….Ashley wont say a word, will hire another Pardew/McClaren, and we will be right back to where we was before Benitez and Ashley will know that the heat will die down and he goes back to milking the club untill his next pantomime in January. He has no intention of selling, so stop pretending you fat predictable narcissist.

Ashley won’t have taken a penny out of the club. The moneys been coming in and used to run it on the bones of its backside while not bringing in reveue via advertising.

You could say that SD has benefitted from free advertising and merchandising while the club’s had nothing from it.

And i quote ” Ashley won’t have taken a penny out of the club ”

Silence from a MD and an owner for more or less a month, no news orvpapers are bothered, why. Because we’re not a powerful club.

Mikes turned us into a shadow of SBR days, lacklustre and mundane.

We’re not worthy of attention 🙁

    Toon22 @27

Sorry, I can’t make sense of that post.

If you read mine again, I said that Ashley, the person as opposed to his businesses won’t have taken anything out of the club other than what he, the person was entitled to. I include in that his pasty allowance as an example of said same.

I do differentiate between Ashley the person and Ashley’s businesses which have probably screwed a helluva lot from the club. That I object to and it is nothing less than his cynical abuse of Newcastle United, its fans, the media sponsors, the Premier League and any others that have invested in the club.. Semantics I know, but important at that.

Does that help you understand? Or maybe I read your post as one penned with your tongue in your froggy little cheek? I hope that was the case otherwise your credibility and the support I’ve given you goes out if the window, your little lily pad sunk and you, croaked as far as I’m concerned.

Anyone even contemplating barracking Charnley at his home’s inviting media attention of the worst kind – it’d devalue any support the fan protests might have – Bishop’d make sure it hit the national and international press.

    Here’s a thought for people:

Boycott Arsenal – go watch Gateshead FC instead.

Everyone gets their football fix, it’s a better story than just a boycott alone so adds to the media coverage, Ashley loses out financially, and a local grassroots clubs gets a much needed financial boost.

Even if you can’t bring yourself to boycott the whole season, just try doing it for this one game. Just one. Send a message.
