This Damning Indictment Of Carver’s Cautious Tactics

Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 · 69 Comments

What we have found out over the last three months is that John Carver talks a good game before the match, and talks a good game after the match, it’s just that during the matches Newcastle are usually hopeless.

Can This Man Do The Job At Newcastle – New Poll

Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 · 16 Comments

Steve McClaren 1/2 odds on at SkyBet to get the job at Newcastle in the summer, and while our poll out on Steve shows 84% of fans didn’t want to see Steve in as the head coach – that poll opened up on January 26th when some of us even thought Newcastle would being in a top foreign coach – but more and more it looks like Ashley wants somebody who can coach within his (very) rigid financial system, where making money is the highest priority and the strength of the playing squad is very much a second priority.

No top coach who wants to be successful, would want to coach under those stringent conditions where Ashley looks at the financial results and thinks he’s been successful..

Newcastle After Shrewsbury Town Winger

Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 · 10 Comments

Newcastle United must have a long target list for this summer’s transfer window,  because we’ll have to bring in a good number of players to strengthen the squad, , and Newcastle may not be able to get their top choices in, and therefore may have to go down the list a little if bigger clubs are in for some of our top targets – but there’s no doubt this is one of the most important summer transfer windows for some time for Newcastle United.

Cartoon Time – Mike Ashley – What Is A Football Club?

Tuesday, April 7th, 2015 · 143 Comments

We’ve noticed there has been a lot of criticism on the way Mike Ashley is running Newcastle United, and there has been a lot of criticism coming from independent sources.

That’s simply because Newcastle have put themselves into such a mess by their rather stupid and reckless actions in January, and when interim head coach John Carver has  tried to defend their actions – it simply make things even worse – simply because it’s hard to defend the indefensible.
