Newcastle gained a great fighting point at St. James’ Park this afternoon, and after going ahead with a brilliant Yohan Cabaye special,  Yanga-Mbiwa was sent off just before half time for bringing down Luis Suarez in the penalty box, and Steven Gerrard scored his 100th Premier League goal for Liverpool.

Yanga-Mbiwa And Ben Arfa Return Against Liverpool

As expected Yanga-Mbiwa and Ben Arfa both start for Newcastle today against Liverpool, with Mapou coming in for the injured Coloccini and Ben Arfa replacing Papiss Cisse, and the Frenchman will play in the middle of the front three, with Remy and Gouffran the two wide men.

So Remy and Gouffran will be the two to track back for Newcastle today – never a strong point of Ben Arfa’s – so that’s not a bad move by Alan Pardew.

French Star – I Am Really Enjoying Life At Newcastle

Alan Pardew will be putting out an attacking side against Liverpool today, and because we are at home the Newcastle side will be set up to attack Liverpool, and we suppose that’s the first line of defense against a team that has looked so good this season, and are currently joint top of the Premier League with Arsenal.

Liverpool Result Today May Rest On This Player’s Shoulders

Ben Arfa and Yanga-Mbiwa were both replaced at half time at Everton after that woeful first half display, which is one of the things that make us think our defense is not too much improved from last season when we leaked 68 goals in the Premier League, and we must do a lot better than that this season, otherwise we could be struggling again.

Alan Pardew May Recall The Player He Loves

Saturday, October 19th, 2013 · 12 Comments

There is news today that French International Hatem Ben Arfa may return to the starting line=up against Liverpool at St. James’ Park today, and the manager seems satisfied, very satisfied in fact, with the reaction he got from  the player after he was replaced at half time in the Everton game, and then benched for the last game at Cardiff City two weeks ago, which we won 2-1.
