Are Newcastle Targeting This Serbian Center-Back?

News today that Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew will be trying to bring in an English style center-back in the January transfer window, after Newcastle shot themselves in the foot again on September 1st (what again?), when we allowed Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to leave for a loan spell at Roma and didn’t replace him.

This Is Why Alan Pardew Is Still Newcastle Manager

Since the 4-0 slaughter at Southampton on 13th September (unlucky for some),  Newcastle have played four games, and we have drawn two games in the league and lost at Stoke, and had a good 3-2 win at Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup in extra time, after we had gone down to 10 men.

Increasing Pressure On Newcastle Could Have Consequences

One of the real concerns we have at Newcastle this season, is the longer we stay near or in the relegation zone, the more difficult it will be to get out of it – and one reason for that is there is mounting pressure on the players in every game we do not win, and that makes it difficult for them to play at their best.
