It was a weekend that Mike Ashley essentially took control of Rangers FC, as well as watching Newcastle United beat Tottenham 2-1 in London,  and the questions are now starting to be asked about what this means two years down the road,  if and when Rangers get back into the Champions League.

Star Youngster – I Hope To Thrive At This Great Club

Ayoze Perez has been like a breath of fresh air at Newcastle, and although the 21 year-old Spaniard was brought in as one for the future, he has already appeared 10 times for Newcastle this season, and he scored his first goal for the club on Sunday with a beautiful header, to win the game at White Hart Lane.

The latest move by Mike Ashley to gain control of Rangers is that former Newcastle Managing Director Derek LLambias, who resigned from Newcastle United in protest at Joe Kinnear’s announcement as Director of Football a year last June, is an applicant for the open CEO position at the club.

Can Newcastle End Eleven Game Losing Streak?
