We Didn’t Deserve To Lose – Burnley Now An Important Game

Cheick Tiote had missed the last six games for Newcastle, which were all wins,  but unfortunately when the Ivory Coast International returned to the side yesterday as captain, we were beaten 1-0 at West Ham, in what was anther close game.

UEFA Rules – How Rangers, Newcastle Can Compete In Europe

Newcastle issued a statement yesterday that basically said the Telegraph were lying when they said the Telegraph said they had an interpretation of the UEFA rules should Rangers and Newcastle in the future qualify for Europe.

The Telegraph issued their own statement today saying they were not lying and that UEFA had referred them to article 3 of the UEFA rules – and they interpreted those rules.

Newcastle United suffered a defeat for the first time in eight games today – a 1-0 loss at West Ham – but with Moussa Sissoko being sent off and Jack Colback picking up his fifth yellow card of the season, both will now miss the game at Burnley on Tuesday night – and that’s not good news.

Newcastle’s Winning Run Finally Ends – Lose 1-0 At West Ham

Newcastle’s six game winning run and seven game unbeaten streak both came to an end at Upton Park this afternoon, when Newcastle went down to a 1-0 defeat, with a goal from Aaron Cresswell after 56 minutes, and to make matters worse Moussa Sissoko was sent off after 75 minutes for two yellow cards, and so will miss the game at Burnley on Tuesday night.
