Big Shocks For Both Tiote And Cisse

There were shocks for both Newcastle players Cheick Tiote and Papiss Cisse in their African Cup of Nations qualifiers last night,  as both the Ivory Coast and Senegal were beaten,  and  Tiote and Cisse both started for their countries.

Tim Krul Fit To Play On Saturday – Injury Is Minor

We’re not sure why the news got out today, that Tim had suffered ligament damage to his left elbow, but the club have only just issued a statement on their web-site saying it is a minor injury to Tim’s elbow, and he is fit to play on Saturday.
