Moussa Sissoko picked up his 25th cap for France last night in the 1-1 draw at home to Albania and the powerful Newcastle midfielder played for 80 minutes with no news that he picked up any injury – so we assume he is OK.

Two Newcastle Players Start For France Against Albania

France drew 1-1 with Albania in Lorient last night, and it took a goal from former Newcastle target Antoine Griezmann in the 73rd minute for the Euro 2016 hosts to get the draw.

Ryan Taylor Fighting For His Newcastle Future

In early March two years ago, Ryan Taylor signed a two year extension to his contract, that will keep him at Newcastle until the end of June next year – but of course a short five months after he signed that extension, Ryan suffered the first of his two serious ACL knee injuries, when playing against at St. James’ Park on August 30th in the Europa League against Greek side Atromitos.

Pardew – Our New System Causing Teams Big Problems

Newcastle went from playing a 4-2-3-1 system early this season to a 4-3-3 system, which Alan Pardew has used successfully in the past – and especially in that great season when we finished 5th top back in 2012.

Jonas – I’m Looking Forward To Returning To Newcastle

Jonas Gutierrez was named the “Outstanding Sports Personality” by the Buenos Aries legislature on Thursday night, and there were a number of sports personalities attending the ceremony – including the Newcastle United captain Fab Coloccini, who traveled to Buenos Aries immediately after the 2-0 win at West Brom last Sunday.
