Praise For Fantastic Alan Pardew From Youth Team Coach

It was good to see some of the first team players at the FA Youth Cup quarter-final tie against Chelsea last night at St. James’ Park, and captain Fabricio Coloccini, Mike Williamson and Ryan Taylor – recovering from the serious second serious ACL knee injury – were all there to cheer on the youngsters – and manager Alan Pardew was also at the gamne, after returning from his hearing at Wembley in London earlier in the day.

Cabaye Struggling For Games In Ligue 1 – But He’s Still Sexy

Yohan Cabaye is struggling to start games at his new club PSG, but he could get a start tonight in the Champions League when PSG host Beyer Leverkusen in Paris, after winning the first leg 4-0 in Germany when Yohan came on after 67 minutes for Blaise Matuidi and scored PSG’s forth goal with two minutes to play.

Alan Shearer Offers Some Support To Pardew

Alan Shearer has been talking on ITN following Alan Pardew’s seven game ban and a 60,000 fine dished out yesterday afternoon by an independent FA commission, and Shearer says Pardew cannot do too much other than to apologize, which he’s done several times, and then just get on with it.

FA Unhappy That Pardew Punishment Is So Lenient

There was a report in the Mirror last night that the FA are considering appealing the punishment that was given out yesterday to Alan Pardew for his head butt on Hull City player Davide Meyler – a seven game ban – the first three games of which are a stadium ban, and the last four are a touchline ban – plus a £60,000 fine.
