Newcastle Injury Update On Three Players

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 64 Comments

It seems that there is nothing much wrong with Coloccini and Cabaye, who both had to leave the game yesterday with Coloccini being replaced at half time by Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa – and you couldn’t tell much difference in our defense since both Coloccini and Yanga-Mbiwa are both very good readers of the game.

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 11 Comments

26-year-old goalkeeper was held in good esteem by the Newcastle fans before yesterday’s game after his fine performances earlier in the season in the Europa League and Rob Elliot put in a very solid performance for Newcastle yesterday – after letting in an unfortunate goal after only three minutes, and the first time he handles the ball in the Premier League was to pick the ball out of the back of the net.

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 13 Comments

Newcastle fans are basking in the warmth of two successive wins, and to think the squad will be even stronger for next Saturday’s trip to Swansea, who beat Bradford 5-0 at Wembley yesterday in the Capital One Cup. Ben Arfa should feature in that match either as a starter or from the bench – and Ben Arfa has talked today about winning trophies today – and at Newcastle too.

Fantastic Cisse Goal Hailed By Newcastle Manager – Video

Monday, February 25th, 2013 · 48 Comments

We always knew Papiss Cisse was good, but he has struggled for most of the season when he was playing alongside Demba Ba – and it’s clear the styles of the two Senegal strikers just didn’t mesh at all.
