Pardew – He’s Newcastle’s Most Successful Loan Player

It’s clear that of all our players who went on loan deals last season, two players in particular did very well indeed – James Tavernier at Rotherham, who were promoted last Sunday to the Championship after beating Leyton Orient on penalties after extra time in the play-off final at Wembley, and Algerian Mehdi Abeid, who had a great season in Greece for Panathinaikos.
