It’s Good News Bad News For Fabricio Coloccini

It could have ben a lot worse for Fabricio Coloccini, but Alan Pardew has said the Argentine International will miss the next three games with a calf injury – and if he’s available for the 4th game at home to Chelsea on 6th December, that’s only two weeks on Saturday – so it’s less than three weeks out for the 32 year-old.

Remie Streete Has Been Outstanding At Port Vale

20 year-old Remie Streete has been recalled from his loan spell at Port Vale because of Newcastle’s injury problems with Fab Coloccini and Steven Taylor,  but Remie has hinted that he may be able to return to the Valiants soon.

Newcastle Want French International Striker In January

There’s a report in France today in le10sport.com, that “great club” Newcastle United may make an attempt to get Marseilles striker Andre-Pierre Gignac in the January transfer window, but the French International striker doesn’t exactly fit the profile of players Mike Ashley likes to sign.

Pardew Relying On This From His Players To Win Games

Magpies Still To Report On Severity Of Multiple Injuries

There seems to be no new news yet on the injuries to Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor, and there was conflicting news yesterday when  the Mirror reported both could be out until Christmas, but whereas Colo’s injury still has to be assessed, the local papers are reporting that Steven Taylor could even make the team for this Saturday’s home game against QPR.
