Mike Williamson made his debut for Newcastle on January 25th, 2010 in a game against Crystal Palace,  after Mike arrived at Newcastle not having played a first team game that season, where he was squeezed out at Portsmouth, and he was the best player on the field in that competent 2-0 win.

Newcastle Manager – I Am Not Concerned

Wednesday, October 2nd, 2013 · 30 Comments

We’ve always thought that Alan Pardew was a strong guy mentally, and as reports of him having offered to resign, and even of being fired circulated yesterday in the press, all of which were false, it doesn’t seem to have affected the Newcastle manager much at all.

Newcastle were as bad in the first half last night at Everton, as we were in the first game of the season at Manchester City, and given the players Newcastle turned out – we should have performed a lot better than that in that first 45 minutes – and Alan Pardew will make some changes in the defense for the game at Cardiff City on Saturday, and Mike Williamson will partner Fab Coloccini at the back.

We had thought after the Leeds United game that Mike Williamson could have kept his place in the first team, and replaced Yanga-Mbiwa last night, but once Alan Pardew started talking about his first choice back four from the Hull game, we thought that wouldn’t happen.
